We have bought Dr Oetker products for years, including when we lived in Germany, because they are always high quality. This vanilla essence is no exception, it smells and tastes like real vanilla extract and is brilliant for my home made ice cream. So to buy 2x500ml bottles for less than £10 is a massive saving on horrendously expensive vanilla extract and I can't tell the difference. Very happy.

I have been lucky enough to use decent Mexican vanilla for a number of years, but now unable to travel and the import costs are extortionate I needed to find an alternative.I use this daily in porridge or mixed into Greek yogurt, as well as for baking it has a pleasant flavour that enhances my food.For my daily use this is great alternative to expensive extracts and more cost effective.

So pleased that I found this product on Amazon I have been paying the earth for vanilla extract this is brilliant I am a very happy customer highly recommended well worth the money.

So little gives so much flavour! Never gone wrong with this for over a year now. A good buy I must confess. 5/5!

Doesn't taste like proper vanilla but is okay in cakes
