The Complete Gardener

Excellent book! Although Monty lives in England and I am in Canada, the information in this book can be applied anywhere. Just know your growing climate and zone.

I enjoy Monty Don's style of writing and he knows gardening very well. I've been gardening for many years now, so most gardening books are not meant for me - they are meant for beginners. But I found much to appreciate in this book. I've overhauling my yard once again, and this book has helped me with a couple of difficult landscaping problems. It's filled with tons of pictures and good advice. If you only buy one gardening book, this should be the one.

I like Don Monty but his book is all over and it’s not very useful for the average beginner or city gardener. There is a lot of content on Monty’s thoughts and that’s just a waste of page because it’s a thick book.

Habe das Buch in Englisch gekauft, alles leicht verständlich. Die vielen farbigen Abbildungen und die klaren Ratschläge von Monty Don fördern die Lust gleich im Garten mit der Arbeit anzufangen! Viele Neuentdeckungen machen das Lesen spannend! Und immer mit dabei, liebe Fotos von seinen Hunden 🐾💚
