Cannula/Pod Saver!
I started on the omnipod 5 earlier this year and was loving it but was losing pods way way too frequently, then I found this grip! This thing has been a lifesaver for me. It does a great job of keeping my pods on. I’ve swiped doors furniture etc and haven’t lost a pod since using this. It also keeps the cannula in better, I usually put my pods on my lower back or thigh and I’ve had a couple cannulas pop out, not with this on. I’ve seen people say they have trouble getting it on, but I always put the grip on before applying my pod: pull the plastic tab out from the back of pod, put this grip on the pod, peel adhesive backing off back of pod, apply to body with the grip already on the pod, put overpatch on over it all. That has always worked really well for me and I’ve never had issues getting it over the Omnipod 5 pods. I’ve used it with 4 different overpatches myself including podpals, simpatch, rockadex, and expressionmed and they have all fit/worked well with this grip. Overall I really like this grip and I definitely recommend it, it’s given me one less thing to worry about in life!

Doesn’t work
Over patches I’ve used never stay secure around the edges! What’s the point if the adhesive doesn’t stick. Tried this twice with no luck. Tried two different over patches including the 2 that were sent free & the sides still pop up.

Cover Lift
Purchased for my nephew age 10 he’s autistic and didn’t like the Insulin Pump Pod to show or lift. I read up then purchased this product used the first 6 days (2 x) to find it started lifting under the adhesive especially if he sweats or showers so, I wasted money on product have found if I cake on the adhesive first it somewhat stays put still lifts at edges.

Smartest invention ever!
When my son was first started to use the dexcom 2 years ago, he would hit on something or catch it and it would rip off. Or he would put the protective adhesive cover on and when it would peel or fray, we couldn’t just change it without it taking the whole dexcom out. I went looking for solutions and found this version for dexcom. He can not live with out it. So when he started using the Omnipod just recently, I knew I had to find something similar. And I did! This product! Same simple concept, just snap it over and then put on the adhesive patch. Easy to change the patch if we need to and it protects it if it hits somewhere or anything. I have bought a few because he’s 13 and for some reason seems to lose things, like a typical 13 year old boy lol

Almost perfect!
I was diagnosed with T1D at the ripe age of 46. After some time on MDI I chose to go on a pump. The only pump I considered was the Omnipod, because I didn't want a tube. I'm a runner, and also clumsy (lol) and had started having so many issues with leaking pods, especially on my thighs, that I was about to give up on them. Lo and behold, enter this little miracle. An overpatch alone didn't solve my issues, but this has virtually made my leaky pods a thing of the past.In fairness, I'd rather give 4.5 stars but that's not an option. The reason for the slight ding is that for me, the "feet" need to be the teeniest bit longer. Sometimes, depending on placement area, they tend to slip out from under the patch. I usually only note this on my stomach, though. The other issue is the white plastic will discolor as it picks up dyes from clothing. However, I recently ordered direct from the company and multiple colors are available and the feet on the new ones are slightly different. They do tend to wear/stretch after a while (I ordered my first one about 3 months ago) so I think rotation and replacement are necessary.Highly recommend these and as a bonus, you are supporting a small business.

Not very soft and flexible
Bought this for our 5 year old but probably won’t use it often. The concept is great but the product is not very soft or flexible. It also takes A LOT of tape to hold it into place. Probably works a lot better for older people with larger limbs. It was recommended by our CDE.

Love these!
We have covers like this for both the Omnipod & the Dexcom. Our son is very active & kept getting his diabetes supplies ripped off (not the whole thing sticker included, only the device where the dexcom or omnipod's body is sort of detached from the sticker) something would catch on that & it would come off. With these covers nothing has ever been ripped off. They are comfortable and stay on & protect your supplies. You can buy multiple colors so that they match any sticker you might put.

Game changer
I’ve been using the Omnipod system for a couple of years and sadly only recently decided to try what has turned out to be the best of the available options. I had a problem applying the pods to my legs due to the lack of body fat and activity, I detachment bleeding and welts. None of these issues have occurred again since my first time I started using them.
