I purchased this based on a recommendation from a website on training your Great Pyrenes. My boy is a mix and I accepted their recommendation instead of measuring myself. Thats my bad. I got the XXL and it was HUGE. My boy is about 85 lbs and has the build of a Great Pyrenes except leaner. Since it only adjusts on one side of the chest it gets hung up in the middle and won't slide through that lower loop, or the size issue wouldn't be a big deal. I hate when they only adjust on one side, and for almost fifty bucks I just expected....more. I feel like you can get the same value for a harness half the price. The leash is too short for me as I like the dogs walking in front of me. I'm fat and there just isn't space for them to walk beside me on the sidewalk and I don't want them behind me. Even if you attach the leash only on the back it is too short and I keep bumping into his behind. I hated it honestly and don't understand what makes it worth nearly fifty bucks. I see no special features that you wouldn't get in a no pull harness half the price. I'm returning it.

I am not a small person. We have a Daniff .. great dane mastiff mix. Duke is 175 pounds 2 years old. He used to be a puller he see something and goes for it dragging me behind till I can let go. With this he pulls and it turns him around to me right away no pull he has learned it does him no good at all. I have even recommended this to several friends with dogs that pull. I have tried everything this was my last resort. Thank you.

Fits my English Mastiff well. He's only 140lbs though, I doubt it would fit him if he was the "normal" 180lbs size. Easy to clip on and I like that it can clip from the front or back.

Ok I gave this a 3 star because in theory it should and has worked for many people. However my 130 pound lab is all Braun and no brains so we are still struggling. I’m going to keep working with him. I do wish the training leash had a slightly better design to help the harness be more effective.

Not chew proof for my St Bernard. It is sturdy but he got the strap in his mouth and before I knew what he was doing he had it damaged ..
