Very heavy base makes this iPad stand good for public use. Locks iPad in place and has cord outlet to keep charges for hours of use.

Made to sit in one spot, heavy stand, lockable from the back and you can mount it to concrete or wood.....very well made, but it is not light!

Overall a great stand. Very secure. Especially with some ezgo double stick tape. It’s never coming off the counter. BUT the finish isn’t great. It’s only at the right angles but there are two really flaky looking spots where it was either damaged by a previous recipient or in the factory. The box arrived damaged and ripped open dropping the very heavy base plate right in front of my toes (thankful I didn’t end up with broken toes!) so I don’t know if it was a refurb or new.

The item is very heavy and it makes it hard to manage. Not easily functioning. It is a bit complicated until you are able to figure it out. You cannot use the charger while the iPad is inside nor can you turn off the iPad (this is where it becomes complicated.) Trying to put it in and take it out just defeats the purpose of why you want an item like this. Please stay away from this unless you like to take the iPad out nearly every day just to charge the device...then it is super heavy.

I had hoped this would solve our needs because it is sturdy and easy to set up. However, the little round button that covers the home screen button for the ipad had a hole in it and somebody hacked our iPad in the facility where this is used. We got this so the device would be secure even when there are guests in our facility who use it to sign in for events but the button made that function pretty much worthless.I would not recommend this kiosk to anyone.

I've only had this thing for a couple of days. So far, I like it. I was able to assemble it in about 15 minutes. It is very heavy, and doesn't move when used. While sturdy, you can tell a few corners were cut with regard to fit and finish. also, the tubular lock is pretty cheap. It's hard to insert the key, and the action is rough and gritty. Since I won't be locking/unlocking it very often, I think it's acceptable. Overall, the product looks good, and does what it claims, and the price was right.
