The light is simple fix to improve the video conferencing. Easy to adjust the white balance and strength in constantly changing light conditions. I did not get USB cable for charging in my package but it uses standard USB C connection. Suction cap is dreadfully sucks. I had to use Velco strips to attach it to the back of monitor. But I would recommend it. It is more compact then the ring thingy.and wheels control are fantastic to adjust it on the fly. It must have product for WFH set up and way better than desktop lamp. Web cams works best in the best light conditions. So you can buy very expensive web cam for over hundred pounds or cheapish webcam and the light and get the same picture quality.

I’m using this with my iMac. They provide three suction sticker. Basically without the sticker you can use the suction cup on glass or most plastic surfaces but since most laptops or for my case, iMac is made out of metal, it’s impossible for the suction to work on its own - that’s why the sticker or adhesive pads comes in. I had to replaced it again about 3 times as it comes off and fell over after a few hours or days. Since the back of the iMac is slightly curved, it needs try and error to find a slightly flat surface for it to stick well and apply the suction. Anyway it manages to stay put for a month now. The light is very adjustable.

The light does its job and I like the fact that you can adjust the brightness and warmth of the light as needed for changing natural light conditions. I have opted to use the suction pad as opposed to the tripod. The adhesive on the suction pad is very strong indeed so I unscrew the light and leave the suction pad with the hinge attached to my laptop. It’s easier than taking it on and off. The tripod is small and fiddly. The legs don’t bend very easily so consequently the light kept falling over.

The light is exactly what’s needed, it’s compact and packs a punch in terms of brightness. Prefer this kind of small square design over the more common circular selfie lights. A good battery life too on a medium brightness and warmth setting. Helpfully has a USB-C connector too.The suction mount doesn’t hold on the back of my monitor which I think is due to a slight upward curve on the rear of the monitor. I have overcome this by detaching the light and simply bluetacking it to the top of the monitor instead, it isn’t a big issue.

Purchased this on a whim to try to improve the lighting on video calls whilst working from home. If I'm honest it didn't make any significant improvement to the video quality so I never ended up using it for it's intended purpose.The worst thing about this is the suction mount. It just doesn't work and even with the sticky gel pads that come with it I've failed to get it to adhere to any surface for more than a few minutes without it falling off. It's absolute rubbish. The adjustment screws also don't provide a secure and tight hold.It's a nice bright light if you need to use it as a torch or to brighten up a subject (for photography for example) but I can't recommend it for it's intended purpose I'm afraid.

Does exactly what you would expect it to, easy to set up. The battery life isn't so great, did a 90 min Zoom call and at some point it shut off and I looked like I was in witness protection for the rest of the call but I guess if it was constantly wired in then it would be fine and dandy.

Light is great, really bright and lasts a long time but the suction pad sucks. Always falls off the back of the laptop/monitor so I have to have this on the desk next to me, which can look like I’m trying to tell a scary story holding a torch on zoom…

This light works very well and is tremendous for the price. I found the version with the sucker did not hold to surfaces very well but the seller - Hate2020 - dealt with my issue very promptly and efficiently. 5* customer service.I would suggest that it is also worth looking at their version of this light with the clip fixing.
