My cat loves it!
My cat sleeps in this every night. It would be nice if the hood covered more than the back 1/2 to provide one privacy. I have put a small blanket over one side so 3/4 of the top is covered.

Nice looking and my cat enjoys it
This is my 4th K and H product and I am a big fan of their stuff. I purchased this be for my 16 year old arthritic bengal kitty. I wanted something to keep her warm while on chilly days while I am at work. I chose the small size because I wanted the sides to be close to help retain heat. Overall the bed seems to be very well made. The brown color is nice and neutral and the paw prints on the liner are a nice touch. I have not unzipped it to inspect the inside or wash liner. Will update on that at a later date. My cat really likes the bed,and I usually find her sleeping in it when I get home from work. I do not use it with the cover/awning attachment as she wont use the bed with it attached. My only complaint is the cushion is fluffed up with a lot of filing. Being my older kitty only weighs about 7 pounds, it is not enough to flattened the cushion, so she tends to slide off the edge and end up wedged between the cushion and the side walls of the bed. Since she uses the bed regularly I guess it must not be a deal breaker for her.Pros:1. Nice construction and plush materials2. Paw prints on liner are a nice touch3. Supposed to reflect body heat back to cat4. Liner is removable to washCons:1. My cat doesnt seem to like the half cover/awning attachment2. Cushion cause cat to slide off and wedge between cushion and sides of bedOverall my cat seems happy with it, so I am as well. I would purchase again or recommend it to a friend.

Momma cat and kitten approved!
My Cat was prego and I was on the market for a nesting box/bed. I ordered this bed and a day before it arrived she gave birth to one kitty (Go figure). Since she decided to give birth behind a dresser surrounded by drapes and power cords for the TV and it’s accessories, I figured it might be safer to move her away from that particular spot. I unboxed the K&H bed and attached the hood via zipper and moved momma and kitty in!I couldn’t be happier with this bed. (PERIOD)Now for some details:-Bed claims self warming and momma and kitty remain toasty, however I have provided a space heater near their nesting area to keep it warm when momma leave the bed. Kitten usually feels warm, snug and sleeps perfectly.-I originally worried as the bottom padding/built-in pillow has a gap at the seam and the kitten does roll into this spot and essentially gets “stuck” but he’s able to work his way out of the crease. And he’s used it to his advantage and snuggles right up to this area for security and comfort.- The bed itself is the size of a “larger” cat bed. Lots of space for a petite cat (like my kitten momma and her baby) and would also provide as a great bed for the poppa who’s a large fluffy tabby. However, for a larger cat and her babies this bed would be quite snug. I have added the photo for reference of space. Kitty is about 2 weeks old and starting to open his eyes.- The only real “cons” are: The bottom pillow/padding does wear down quickly. A small kitty has managed to create a small divot. But again, he loves it and uses it to his advantage and it capable of wiggling to other parts of the bed.- The zippered “hood” doesn’t fold back as one would think. If you want a completely uncovered bed you would have to take it off. But I don’t consider this a con, just something to add for others to know. All in all I am happy with this purchase 100%.You’d end up paying almost double the amount in a store for this product. For this price you can’t expect a kitty bed that will last 100 years lol. However, my cat loves her kitty in it and she enjoys it.Thanks for reading :)

Cats love it!
All the cats love it. They all fought over the one bed, now each cat has her own.

The hood won’t stay up
It’s cute and functional, but it would be more functional for the stray cat who sleeps on my front porch if the hood would stay up
