Y-connector is single channel so one aileron goes up and the other goes down. Remove y-connector and each aileron can go on a separate channel. I think you have enough channels with your DX6e. I don't know how to program flaperons but should be some help online or at a club. I'd like flaperons myself. Maybe this is my winter project. **Q: What would be the highest wind one should fly this?** A: I prefer 9 mph or less. Now, if you are skilled and have lots of space this plane has plenty of power and is stable with SAFE on. It can handle a bit more wind but it can be tricky especially on turns or while landing. Practice a bit and see what works for you. My Aeroscout is first choice on windy days. Then Conscendo with a heavier 4S battery. Not the Air Tractor because I have problems landing that! **Q: DX 7 transmitter will work with this sailplane?** A: Yes it will, any Spectrum transmitter will work. **Q: How fast will this plane go under power? 50 mph?** A: The plane can use either a 3S or 4S battery. Acts like a glider with 3S. With a 4S battery it can go vertical and is fast. I haven't measured the speed but 50 mph sounds right. Check out "RC Saylors" channel on Youtube. They have several videos featuring the Conscendo.
