The nice thing about these is that the padded tips save my tarantula from a chipped fang if his surgical strike isn't as surgical as usual. However, those same padded tips make it exceedingly difficult to catch a cricket with these. Compared to my plain metal ones, these are a nightmare for cricket-hunting! Great for roaches, though. Roaches are slower, so they tend to have fewer problems with catching them and holding them.If you're using crickets, get a different set of tongs. But other than that, they're great!

I was searching for some high quality feeding/handling tweezer's for my new Panther Morph Chameleon and wanted the safe rubber tips. I couldn't find anything locally even at reptile dealer's. These tongs from Exo Terra are a very high quality, solid thick gauge steel, and much larger and nicer to the feel than I anticipated. These are definintley worth the price and out perform any store bought tweezer's and are much safer than regular tweezer's. Another great product from exo terra.

I needed some tweezers to feed my slow box turtle insects.. if i were to put insects in his enclosure they will burrow and hide before he notices them. With these tweezers i can hold them in front of his face and he can snag them up. With the rubber tip he also wont hurt his mouth considering he bites the tweezers while tying to snatch the insect. He has grown accustom to these, and gets very excited when he sees them.Another great thing about these tweezers is it makes catching the insects easier. Before i bought these i was using a spoon to try and catch mealworms and roaches.

I actually use these tweezers to feed my fish frozen blood worm cubes. I am able to grip the cubes as they dissolve in the aquarium for feeding. They also work great to move some of the decorations around without having to get your whole arm wet. Took off 1 star because I wish they were a bit longer.

It's not easy to hold on to a wiggling cricket. Even worse, it's kind of disgusting. But as a chameleon owner, sometimes it has to be done. Well, until I bought these tweezers, at least. Now I can pick them up, but never have to use my fingers to do so. This is also especially helpful when I plan to feed my chameleon dubia roaches. I refuse to tough those, and this will now take care of that for me.

Does its job but if you're feeding mice you have to hold onto the tweezers with more force than normal unlss you want the dead mice to be falling off the tip of the tweezers.

I love these! It's so much nicer to feed my gecko with these instead of dumping them into his tank. Feeding is a bonding experience, even if he bites the tweezers they've got a soft plastic coating to keep him from hurting his mouth! And it's nicer than having him bite my fingers on accident!

Very large and they are super hard to squeeze (((( I like the tips, but it's impossible to keep the small or medium insect in this tweezers. I love products of Exo Terra, but not these tweezers, sorry...

Pensaba que por las imágenes serían un poco más pequeñas, pero son bastante grandes, en mi caso lo uso para alimentar a mi pogona con insectos, la sujeción es buena, no se escapan ni se aplastan. Las pinzas ofrecen algo de resistencia para cerrarlas pero no es un problema.
