LA Linen 60-Inch Wide Natural Burlap , 10 Yard Roll

I ordered this burlap for the aisle runners and platform and stair covering for my daughter's wedding on Dec. 9th. I needed it to be 5' wide so this just needed to be hemmed at the top & bottom. I was worried that I might have to hem the sides if the selvage edge was not even enough or didn't look finished. It was perfect as the fabric had smooth and even edges which saved me a ton of work. The ceremony was set in "the round" (outside in Florida) with 4 aisles. The decor company event coordinator wanted 3 10' runners and one 50' runner which was the main aisle that we would walk down (I am a widow and walked her down the aisle). I also had to cover the platform and 3 step stairway so used this burlap and a beautiful turquoise burlap which I found at another supplier for that project! Unfortunately, the company, Greenery Productions, and particularly the person I had to work with, Tommy Murphy, refused to give me exact dimensions until 2 1/2 weeks before the wedding despite the fact that I had been asking for them since August so I really had to scramble to get the project completed since I also had to allow for material delivery time. This was the only little glitch....... when I placed the order I requested expedited shipping as it was coming from California. This company apparently shuts down for certain periods of time and they don't even check their correspondence in that time so you don't know that your order isn't being processed!! I received an email saying that the fabric was being shipped ground and would actually arrive 6 days before the wedding (a Monday). I about had a heart attack as we were leaving for the hotel on Wednesday and I knew that I couldn't finish the project in that time. ....... Just an aside....... this was what Tommy Murphy was hoping for as because when he told me that he could do this for $600 - $700 I told him that I could do it because the fabric in total was about $150 and he pushed off giving me the dimensions until I gave my wedding planner an ultimatum. It all but ruined the last 2 weeks I had to spend with my daughter because I had planned to be completely finished with any projects like this at least 2 months before. I had also planned to paint a personal monogram on it which because of the time constraint became impossible, but I digress!! I received the email and I panicked and started to look for a phone number to call the company. That was when I found out that it was closed for the Thanksgiving holiday!! I sent a panicked email to the company and included my phone number begging someone, anyone to please call me back!! In fact I got a call back from a lovely young woman who said that it would for sure be sent in time for me to receive it by the "end of the month". I finally received the email saying that the order was ready to go out and that it would arrive between Dec.3rd & 5th!! .......Yup, another heart attack, so another panicked email went out and the same lovely young lady calls me back! I reminded her of our previous conversation and the written reminders and instructions on my original order. She was lovely and said that she would personally go get the package and at the company's expense overnight air ship the package ........crisis averted, my heart in tact and burlap received 2 days later!!! My final assessment of this supplier is that they have a very good quality product, at extremely reasonable prices. I would just recommend that if you are dealing with any time constraints that you order well in advance, and that you check on the actual shipping date. I will also say that they were beyond accommodating when I explained my dilemma and were sympathetic and kind to a frenzied quasi possessed desperate Mother of the Bride. For all of this I give them 5 stars and my eternal gratitude!!

Now this rating is for the 10 yard roll! I have a shop online and sell on Etsy, Ebay and Amazon. I am always looking for the best burlap and this is by far the best I have purchased in a long time. I was a bit hesitant at first after looking at some reviews about the width. It was delivered extremely fast! One day with Prime. Unbelievable. I had ordered (2) 10 yard rolls. One roll arrived in one day, the second roll arrived in two days. Fantastic! The packaging was very good. The burlap measured 60". It is a very tight weave, just perfect for my table runners. Very high quality and no imperfections. I am ordering again. So in the meantime I needed 20 yards. Ordered one from A.K. Tradings and had the worst experience ever! Would never shop there again. They lied about everything! The burlap was delivered folded up - 20 yards!! It was posted as being on a roll. Then it was the cheap burlap and took forever to get here. The second time I ordered a 20-yard roll was bad as well. Now this burlap was on a roll, but the lowest quality. In the middle of it was about 20 inches of holes and mess...really could not use it.

This roll of burlap has lasted us for 5 years!!! We have used it for everything from Christmas decor, to bulletin boards at school, to gardening. It is thick, high quality burlap and we’re buying more because it’s great to have on hand. The price is fantastic, given the size, in comparison to other brands. It’s also excellent for making plant covers during winter, which are reusable if allowed to dry out and stored properly.

This the third time I have purchased this burlap from this seller over a few years. The first time I purchased the 60 inch wide 20 yard roll, based on that purchase I made a second purchase several years later of a 10 yard roll. This most recent (third) purchase was of another 10 yard roll (all the same 60" width). Some customers commented that the burlap came in a box even though they ordered a roll. Each time I received the burlap wrapped tightly onto a cardboard tube, covered with a thin plastic and then packed in a container (box). This third time the cardboard tube was crushed in 3 places, but that did not affect the burlap or my rating. Some customers commented that the burlap sheds--yes, it does, but I didn't mind because I've never had burlap that didn't. Others commented that the burlap was dirty or that it had pulls in it; I have not had these issues either. The prices haven't changed much over the years (which is very nice!). I did notice a difference in the weave of the product purchased the first time versus the second and third purchases. The first was a bit thicker/tighter and less see-through. The IMO slightly-lighter weave of the later purchases is actually the only reason that I rated the product 4 stars. However, the quality if just fine and actually much better than burlap that I bought at the big box store. For my purposes a difference in weave or even some imperfections or smudges wouldn't necessarily matter. I am using the burlap from all of the purchase to wrap my evergreens and roses to shelter them from the winter winds and snow and to keep the deer from snacking all winter,. Since some of the material is side-by-side in my yard I can actually see and feel the difference between purchase #1 burlap and the subsequent two. The product that I first purchased (in the 20 yard) roll was so nice I almost saved it for other uses instead of wrapping my plants with it; it was almost like fabric you could sew into linen-looking dress. The current product is still quite good, has a tight enough weave, but it just seems to have a little less heft to it. That's the reason I gave it only 4 stars. Honestly, if I hadn't had the prior product to compare I probably would have given this 5 stars.

This burlap exceeded by far my expectation in Quality and Price .Very happy, not only me, but our Emerald Cedar even more.Thanks, Vit

I'm not a burlap expert, but this material seems to be a much higher quality than the roll of burlap I got from Canadian Tire. The weave is much tighter, and it cuts better as a result.
