Ordered 2 sizes up!
Love it! Bought it for my 12 year olds 1st Halloween party. She’s going as Malificent. Costume looks great. She normally wears a juniors size 7.. but we ordered up and got a large. It fit percent. The crushed velvet looks so authentic and she’ll pair it with wedge boots. the corset string adds great shaping and we will dress her hair with gold twine and flowers to complete the look!

Beautiful, and amazing value.
I did not have high expectations because of the great price point for this "costume," but it far exceeded them. The quality is wonderful and it fits perfectly. (I ordered a Medium, and it was true to size.)

Beautiful plush fabric! Pleasantly surprised!
This is the cutest thing EVER!! Never mind my hair and the junk around me... I had just gotten the package, opened it, and tried on the dress immediately!! It fits perfectly truly to size and the material is thick and plush! My husband asked me how much I paid for it(he thought it was expensive) because the fabric is beautiful!! Definitely better than I expected! It’s a real dress... not a costume! Once I get my head dress in, hair fixed, and a little makeup on it will be perfect!!!

Good Value
I followed advice from other reviews and ordered 2/3 sizes larger than I normally would have. I am 5'9", 195 lbs, and I normally wear a Large, sometimes XL (size 12 pants, size 36DDD bra). I ordered the XXX-Large, going up an extra size for length. I definitely could have ordered the XX-Large, probably the XL and it would have easily fit, but I'm glad I have the extra length. I would definitely go at least one size up, and at least 2 sizes up if you are taller.I also figured it was ok to err on the larger side since there is lacing on the front and back, so I could make it tighter if need be. Well, the lacing is in such a weird position it won't really work. Also, instead of the 6 loops on each side, as pictured, there are 2 loops on each side. The bottom of the front laces goes to mid-boob. The lacing in back is right around my shoulder blades. I tried to pull the dress down so these would be closer to where they should be (my waist???) but it wouldn't stay. I then tried to make it look not totally weird, but it just does. I've decided to remove the loops for the lacing and move them to where they should be. This will be easy for me, but I know not everyone will have that options - so larger sizes beware.Additionally, I've decided to find something with which to replace the lacing itself. It comes with a black cord, similar to the shoelace on a men's dress shoe. It's fine, and the visual effect is there, but I just think for a couple of dollars it can look a whole lot better. I'll try to remember to add pictures once I've made the changes.Length-wise, it hits right at the top of my foot - honestly, it couldn't be more perfect. It's just long enough without dragging on the ground - which normally wouldn't bother me, but I'm wearing it to a Renaissance Festival and don't want to be tripping over it or intentionally getting it all muddy.Overall, the quality is what I expected for what I paid. The material is nice and thick which will be nice since we are going to a Ren Fest in the fall and it might be pretty chilly.

Small chested people beware
I ordered this dress for a dance at my college. It was very soft and the color was beautiful (I got the purple one). The only qualm I have is that the dress tends to be a bit large around the chest and shoulder area. I have a small chest and narrow shoulders, so I needed to use safety pins to keep from flashing everyone. I am 5'4" and 120lbs so a medium fits pretty well other than the baggy chest fabric. The dress also has ties in the front and back, so it would definitely work for people that have bigger ribcages. Overall, I liked this dress
