Does an amazing job on wound care.

Love this brand. I've been using them for months and I like the way they stick yet pull off gently.

I have issues with wound healing particularly on my right arm from medication taken for arthritis. I had worked with a wound clinic who had these fabulous silver bandages that I was hoping to find here on Amazon. I couldn't find anything even close to the ones used by the clinic. (They came in a large estimated 10-12 inch square that you cut to shape needed and used your own tape to affix. They looked a bit like the foam bandages, with a coarser texture and stiffer feel.) These are so blasted expensive and such a disapointment. It is summer here and humid. I sweat a bit when active and/or when outside. The tape which is ample was great. It did not hurt the skin it was stuck to which has been an issue and was sufficiently large to keep the small center square intact. I was super pleased until I walked my dogs outside on the typical evening and/or when I exercised. Then off came the adhesive and the bandage. I found the only way to keep it in place under that situation was to wear one of those stretchy open weaved gauze like things around my arm where this was placed. I find those uncomfortable with wear and they can occasionally irritate my skin so wasn't pleased that my $$ silver bandage needed help to not fall off. Anyone know where I can find the kind like in the wound climic please let me know. I found that two days was as long as I could push wearing these. If I had to shower I had to cover it like I do a cast or remove it and then use both new tape and a new stretchy gauze piece to keep in place. Even with both once removed, the tape will never again adhere and the bandage will float off the wound and around the arm where you neither want or need it. In addition if there was silver I saw no evidence on or within the bandage. They looked identical to the plain foam ones I already had at a far lower cost. My arm has healed where I was using this one, but think it was because I was diligent in keeping it covered and not because of this particular bandage.

As advertised. Good product for wound care.

A little different than the first ones I received but I think they hold better on the skin.
