LifeProof iPhone 12 Pro FRĒ Series Case - OCEAN VIOLET (BERRY CONSERVE/DUSTY LAVENDER), waterproof IP68, built-in screen protector, port cover protection, snaps to MagSafe

I've used these cases for the last 6+ years because they stood by their product and would replace it if it broke, but that is no longer. Only thing they have now is 1yr manufacturer warranty covering defects. Why pay 80 when they wont stand by the product anymore.

I have always had lifeproof cases. Yes they are expensive. But my phones have always stayed protected in them. I dont even panic if I drop my phone because I know it will be ok in these cases. The people who are saying this case is built different than past ones are correct. But not for the worse. It’s just different. It’s sturdy. The touch screen works great. I don’t think it supports wireless charging. But I will test that out.Don’t hesitate to buy it.Update; after using it for a few months, the PLASTIC protecting the camera lens is already scratched which makes it impossible to use the camera with the case on.The silent dial is nearly impossible to turn. Not loving the new design over the charging port and disappointed it won’t support wireless charging. So taking away stars.

Do not buy it! There is so much space between the screen protector and the touch screen that I have to punch my phone to write or use the screen. It therefore looks like I’m chronically writing angry texts to an ex. And scrolling?! Forget it. For $100 case I’m shocked at how terrible it is. Started a return. Disappointed. I live a rugged lifestyle and need a protective case, but I’ll take my chances rather than hurl my phone off a cliff in a moment of frustration when I can’t push the letter G because of the 1/16” gap between my screen and the plastic.—Sad iPhone 12 Pro owner.

I have been an avid buyer of LifeProof cases for over 12 different phones now. I have seen the progression of their product, and also the price changes as they have become more popular. I am very upset to report this case is probably the lowest quality version that I have ever seen from them, and they still charged an astounding 90$ for the "privilege." Instead of the mechanism covering the charging port that actually had a metal pin providing pivot strength, they have opted for a plastic flip that is so incredibly thin I expect it to last under 6 months of daily use opening it to charge and then closing it in the morning. In addition, facial recognition did not work at first, and support's instructions were to take a knife, and remove a small adhesive backed piece of material from inside the touchscreen's surface, which while completed successfully it is just asinine that was a step for users to take on a waterproof phone case. Finally, the case barely seals, and I mean barely. After repeated attempts to close the case, there is still a substantial gap around the case, that is allowing dirt and dust to accumulate and after a day on a busy jobsite is threatening to pop the whole thing open. Overall, very disheartening. This will be used as a 90$ dust cover until I can find another better waterproof solutions, since when the phone is in the case I doubt it could weather a heavy rain, let lone an actual dunk into a puddle or pool. (also, I had to come all the way over to Amazon just to leave a review since they don't even allow individuals who purchased via their site to leave reviews.

I’ve always used Lifeproof cases because I’m tough on my iPhones, but this recent one has been a huge disappointment. I got the iPhone 12 Pro specifically for the camera and excellent photos it takes. Within 3 weeks, the protective film on the Lifeproof case covering the camera lenses was so scratched that none of the photos were clear anymore. I replaced it with a $15 case that works great and won’t be buying another Lifeproof again.

I am on my second FRE case and it is junk. No point in purchasing this case if you ever take photos. The front of the camera covering scratches SO EASY, and you can't take photos with it unless you take the case off. Once you take the case off it is a huge pain to put back on because the ring on the inside wont stay in place easy. My boyfriend has the same case and it is so frustrating because every photo he sends me is blurry from the junk plastic protection they have over the camera lenses. For a case that is almost $100 you would think they would invest in a higher quality protection film for the camera. So disappointing. No other phone case I've owned has had this issue.

The Dial Button on case is Inoperable for the phone's upper left ring/silent button. Fortunately. I never use that button so the case is still a win. The cover for the lightening port is more difficult to open and close than past models but at least the 12 Pro can charge on the Mag safe charger, so I can keep in on. This is my 3rd phone with a Lifeproof case and they all performed well during unexpected hot tub submerge tests. Every time, I have upgraded my trade-in was in immaculate condition using a life proof case. I do like the rounded edge of this case better than the older ones, as it feels more comfortable. It is a keeper.

I’m not sure if this is a real Lifeproof or a knock off. I’ve used Lifeproof for 8 years and never had an issue with them. They usually last a year because I have carpal tunnel and drop them a lot. I’m very disappointed to pay nearly $100 for the plastic seal to pop out and to try to put it back in. Once I submerged it into water the water flooded the inside. (This was my second case. I gave it a second chance.) Only positive is I can get my money back. I this is a real Lifeproof the quality has drastically dropped.

I was disappointed to say the least. Paid $100 for a case that no one could hear me talking, facial recognition was almost impossible. For a Lifeproof case I’m extremely disappointed. Would not purchase Lifeproof again.

Mon étui Life proof pour iPhone 12 Pro est arrivé brisé parce que le plastique est vraiment de mauvaise qualité. L’écran de l’étui du Life proof de iPhone 12 Pro est plein de bulles en mettant pour cellulaire dans l’étui. Je ne suis vraiment pas satisfait de mon achat.

I really live Lifeproof and they have great warranty but this phone case doesn’t completely close on one side.

This product was clearly NOT new. Seal had been broken and there were DOG hairs INSIDE the case on the cloth and the instructions included were for an OTTERBOX!!!
