This is Perfect For Even Multi Cat Use When it comes to Odor!
We have used Pretty Litter for a couple of years and it has been fine. I saw this and just thought I would use it as backup. We LOVE THIS!! With Pretty Litter we could still smell urine after 5 days, not strong at all but we have her box by the toilet so getting up, you could get a wiff. She also carried it in her paws into the bed so we did have to vacuum daily, literally only 2 minutes a day so nothing big. This product is BETTER!! Smell no urine at all, even after a week picking out the clumps daily!! They are also large enough that she doesn't carry it in her paws to our bed or anywhere. Absolutely love this and found a new customer using this ONLY!! Price is MUCH, cheaper as well! This would even be great for multiple cats! I'm sold!!!

GAME. CHANGER.
Is it a bit dramatic to say this cat litter changed my life? Because honestly, it did. I live in a small space and, though I know more than one litter box is desirable and recommended for two cats, it simply wasn't realistic for my household. So I used a good clumping clay litter with baking soda and scooped my one box at least twice a day into my litter genie, but still couldn't altogether escape the smell or the tracking, plus my cats were clearly not happy with the arrangement-- one of my cats had some litter box anxiety and was frequently covering and re-covering everything in the box, breaking up clumps and kicking litter out in the process. Rather than once again try to figure out how to make two boxes work, I decided to give this crystal litter a try first on the suggestion of a friend (I have one long-haired cat and one short-haired), and the cats took to it immediately. The cat who had been stressed about the box now only goes in to do her business, except when she actually races over to watch with fascination whenever I rake the crystals. I was truly blown away by how well it works--it really does absorb ALL liquid and urine odors. The only odors arise immediately after the cats poop, but all moisture from that is quickly absorbed as well, so the odor is less intense than it used to be. I still use the litter genie for convenience, but I could honestly get rid of it and scoop the poops directly into the toilet. Lingering odors are GONE. There is still a bit of tracking, but much, much less than with the clay litter. There are no gross, saturated clumps sticking to the box and the scoop. There is absolutely no hint of a "litter box smell" in my home anymore. Given that the instructions specify to only use 1" of it at a time, and the fact that it lasts two full weeks before needing to be replaced, it doesn't actually end up being much more expensive than my old brand, and the improved quality of life it has given me more than makes up for the $5 or so extra I'm paying per month (I expect this one container to last me about a month for 2 cats and one litter box). If you haven't tried this type of litter, DO IT. My only regret is that I didn't switch sooner.

Pretty good odorless litter, but also dusty, doesn't last as long as advertised
I use this for my medium hair cat, and it doesn't get stuck to her fur at all. When fresh, it gets rid of smells pretty much immediately, and I don't even use a hooded litter box. There is virtually no smell, but it may require some occasional stirring each day to make sure all the silica makes contact with the liquids. However, it is both marketed as being not dusty and lasting 1 cat 60 days for the 8 lb container. This is not true for me. It's actually quite dusty when pouring it into the litter box and when sifting the litter throughout the day. I can see the dust and smell it (just smells like silica dust), but it certainly hasn't caused an allergic reaction for me like clumping clay litters do. I am concerned that prolonged inhalation of the silica dust will cause health problems for my cat though, as silica dust is known to cause lung problems. I may eventually switch to larger grain crystal litters to avoid this problem. The 8 lb container lasts me on average 3 weeks using a standard large litter box at 1 inch depth. I have a 7 lb kitten. The litter gets a little yellow and smells pretty bad after a week. I would give it more stars if it wasn't dusty and lasted longer -or- if it was cheaper. The litter is also small enough that it's very easy for my cat to kick it out of her box, but not a big deal.

Perfect for older cats as well
We have struggled for a while now with our aging cat and her kitty litter. She fills it incredibly fast and has gotten to the point to where she no longer cares about covering her dedication with her litter after doing the deed. Needless to say, it's quite a pain and causes messes pretty regularly with virtually all types of kitty litter. One day we were at a big box store that shall remained unnamed and they had some silica kitty litter on clearance so I thought what the heck we'll give it a try. Talk about night and day! She took to it quite quickly and even started covering her litter again. The best thing about silica litter is that it doesn't track, especially if you use a kitty mat in front of the box. As long as you keep the solid stuff out it last a long time as well as the silica absorbs the urine in the crystals. Once the majority of the crystals are yellow, you know it's time to change it. It also does an amazing job of containing odor. What I like best about this brand of silica litter is the nice container it comes with. Most silica litters are just in a bag, This is much more convenient if you just want to add a little here and there as some gets removed with solid waste. Also the price is pretty much on par with other silica litters in this quantity.

The best litter for us, and I think we've tried EVERYTHING!
Is this litter perfect? Amazing? I honestly don't think there's such a thing for me! I've tried probably 2 dozen different brands of litter, from clumping, to pine, to corn-based, silica, even the kind made from recycled newspapers. However, this is what I keep coming back to! I like it because it contains the odor the best (for my one kitty), lasts the longest, and requires the least maintenance from me. I scoop out the poo at least every other day and empty/replenish the litter out about every week to week and a half. I dislike that it is slightly dusty when I poor in the new litter and I also don't love the little pieces of litter than inevitably get kicked out or stuck in paws that come out... these little pieces are not fun to step on and therefore, the room with the litter box gets vacuumed daily. Overall, this brand has worked the best for us! I love that it is almost half the price (at present) from Amazon than similar products at the pet store, and the additional savings by getting is Subscribe and Save are fantastic.

Best cat litter to reduce odor
Best cat litter to eliminate smells! I have 2 female cats and do a full change out of my box every 7-10 days. I use an auto cleaning box and mix in about 1/3 of my litter as slide clumping litter to help with the automatic litter box catching the poop. I take the waste bag every day or two. The Elsey significantly reduces cat odor. I highly recommend!

Worst litter I've ever purchased
I recently took in five kittens. That means I have had to find a brand that will work best for my littles. I tried pretty litter, which the kittens like but I was looking for something a little cheaper. Dr Elseys is supposed to be a good brand and the cat attract worked well enough but was super dusty and made me cough. This crystal litter is as dusty, if not worse, than the cat attract. It smells unpleasant by itself and doesn't have any effect on the poop smell. I knew it wasn't clumping but the way the urine just gathers at the bottom is disgusting. To top it all off, the crystals in this litter are way bigger and sharper than the other crystal litters I've tried. My kittens hated it and I tossed the whole thing after three days. Huge waste of money and I absolutely do NOT recommend.

While not licensed he acts as my emotional support animal so I want to put as much energy as I can giving him as much love and a
I have a now 1.5 year old kitty. While not licensed he acts as my emotional support animal so I want to put as much energy as I can giving him as much love and attention as he gives me. I absolutely HATE scooping. I hate it SO MUCH. I'm not going to potty train my cat, that seems silly. I don't want to deal with having to buy filters for expensive $100+ self cleaning boxes. But I also don't have the $300-$500 it costs to get a real self cleaning litter box without filters you have to replace every five minutes. That being said I use the Otter Paw which has a plastic filter. I don't have to scoop, I just turn it on it's side and back over and empty the compartment. This works perfectly but regular litter made it awful to clean out. I found using crystal litter the best as it absorbs better and doesn't clump so it doesn't make the plastic part that filters the litter as gross/sticky as clay or 'regular' litter. Unfortunately it's not easy to find crystal litter that doesn't cost an arm and a leg and isn't too big or too fine. I have tried quite a few including the most expensive from Fresh Step and found it to be mediocre for the price personally. I tried this as sort of a last resort since I'm on a budget and I REALLY didn't want to switch back to cheaper litter due to what I mentioned before plus the dust and smell. This is my new go to litter. I don't have a long haired cat but again, for reasons crystal litter is best for my set up. I've included some pictures. I was actually kind of shocked how legit the packaging was so I even took pictures of that. It comes in a pretty durable plastic pour container like what is pictured. It even comes with a lid that pops half open to pour. As pictured once a month or so I do a full cleaning of the box and dump and refill it with all new litter. It only took half the container for a pretty decently sized litter box. This will last me 1-2 months which is a steal compared to other brands prices. To make a long story short it's my favorite so far and I WILL be repurchasing. I have photos to show you my set up, the packaging, the litter, the size/coarseness of the litter. I put a highlighter there for size reference because it was the only thing I could think of!

This litter tracks everywhere!
After one night of usage, I can confidently say that this is the absolute worst litter I have ever used. It tracks everywhere. There's not a single room that does not have litter in. Woke up this morning to litter in the bed and on my desk in a completely different room. My cat has only used the litter twice overnight according to my Litter Robot and yet, I have litter pieces in all rooms. Actually calling it litter pieces might be wrong. What we should be calling it is little shards of glass everywhere because the pieces are sharp and some are pretty small and yes I did accidentally step on one and injured my foot. I urge everyone to stay away from this product and its false advertising especially at the ridiculous high price.

Great cat litter
I have 2 cats that love this litter. This non clumping litter controls odor and doesn't stick their fur so they don't track it everywhere. It also changes color as it soaks up liquids which gives a nice indicator of when it needs changing.

Great Oder control.
We have been using this litter for 3 years now and love it. Virtually no smell of cat urine at all. We prefer the purple but when push comes to shove we will still use the blue one.

Okay but crystals are hard
This litter is okay in a pinch but the crystals are too big, and I feel uncomfortable for the kitties' paws.

Dustiest litter ever
Within a second of pouring this into the litter pan, I was hit with a mushroom cloud of white dust. I had hardly poured any out yet! It took me an hour to fill two litter bins, with 2 air purifiers and my patio door opened right beside me, I still had to take repeated breaks after just a short pour because the dust was so bad. My one cat came by to check out what was going on and immediately left to go puke (and no, it was not a hairball). My eyes were so dry and they burned, my lungs felt heavy.... You may be asking yourself, why did you finish using it? Well I was on my way out of town for the weekend and didn't have another option. I was forced to make it work. But never again will I buy this stuff. You may think I'm exaggerating but I assure you, I am not. I have 4 eldery cats and I've gone through plenty of dusty litters over the years. There have been a few that were pretty bad... But I have never seen anything quite like this! If you or your cats have asthma or lung problems - please, for your own safety, avoid this!
