Nice Little Set
I gave this set 5 stars because the whisk was nice in the sense that it does what it is suppose to froth my green matcha tea. I love that the ceramic holder is there to allow my whisk to keep its form and dry out. Remember to allow your whisk to soak 1-2 minutes in hot water right before each use to loosen it up.I don't use the lil tiny hockey shaped scooper because most matcha recipes call for a 1- 1.5 teaspoons of matcha, therefore I just use a regular teaspoon. Lastly the spoon is a nice touch. All and all... this is a nice set. *I wish that the whisk and the ceramic holder came alone, maybe it would be a lil cheaper.

Much needed whisk set! Beware of bamboo sliver
Have used the bamboo whisk 3 times & it works great! However, this last time a small piece of bamboo came off into my drink (see picture). Hoping it doesn't continue. Will update if needed. Overall the whisk is great & it's great that it came with an air dry holder. Otherwise I've heard they can mold. The holder is a good weight. I like the matcha measurer that came too. Haven't used the spoon yet.

You get what you pay for
Whoever thinks this is a high quality set has never actually used a standard Japanese quality set before. This is low quality but good for the price if you're looking for a beginner set. It still seems to work well enough for its intended purpose. The wisk stand is nice to have and is well made. I used the chashaku once and refuse to use it again lol so I bought one at my local tea shop ($6.50) because this one is way too rough and the matcha sticks to the bottom. I actually don't know what the spoon is for since I've never used one in tea ceremony before, but it's the same roughness as the chashaku so I wouldn't really want to use it. The chasen is alright, it's functional but I can tell something about it feels cheaper than what I'm used to. Overall, good for the price but if you want quality go to an actual Japanese tea shop. and just FYI once you use the chasen the ends uncurl (which is perfectly normal) but it becomes too long to fit back into the plastic case incase you were planning to use it for storage.

A charming and useful piece-
This little set is so nicely made I leave it out on my counter for decor. But thankfully it works well for stirring Matcha tea. I can't imagine doing it with a spoon again & wish I had known to buy this when I bought the tea! What a difficult endeavor if you don't have a good set like this. The dipper for getting the powder fine tea out is just the right size. The bamboo piece for not just stirring but ensuring water and tea incorporate works well. Even the tie in middle loosened and came apart quickly as it should. The dryer is a little piece of porcelain in a lovely green color that the stirrer sits atop perfectly. There's nothing more to ask of this little set. They got this one right & I highly recommend it to all..

I make so much more matcha tea now!
I got this tea whisk set as part of a birthday present and I absolutely love it. The little whisk holder mount is cute and I like having it on my counter. The scoop is great too. But more importantly, having this whisk means I make a lot more matcha tea and matcha lattes than I ever did before. The whisk works really well in ensuring the powder blends in just right. I thought this was a thoughtful gift, and have been very happy with it!

so cute
Love this whisk, I use for matcha tea and if I make my own creamer and want to whisk in flavor or powders like cinnamon or nutmeg

Overall good value for the money.
Whisk and white white holder are great, just as described. The large spoon has a defect where it looks like there was a bubble or something that happened to cause the tip not to be coated like the rest of the spoon. Only the top of the little spoon is coated, so the bottom stains when it gets matcha on it and then water (to rinse it off), so maybe just keep it dry. Here it’s pictured on a tray by the same company.

Great Value!
All the tools and parts provided were exactly as shown. Though I'm no Matcha expert, I do have to say making Matcha Tea w/o a proper Bamboo Whisk is accepting inferior and wasted team. After using this kit, it made a world of difference especially w/ the whisk stand.Going forward, the only part needing replacement will be the whisk which is completely acceptable. (Natural Bamboo will over time just wear down no matter the supplier.)Highly recommend this kit for any other new converts!
