New Look Sewing Pattern 6447A Misses' Dresses, Paper, White, 22 x 15 x 1 cm

I bought this and made style b for the dress for my brother’s wedding. I got a ton of compliments!

Of course it's very thin paper, whereas nowadays recycled thicker paper is more common. I haven't sewed it yet but the instructions look very clear.

Zéro pointé, rien ne va ! Aucune taille ne correspond 🙄

I am an experienced home sewer. This is a very nice pattern but l would not classify as a beginners pattern. Multiple sizes on one pattern. I haven’t sewen this dress pattern but will be soon for this summer, as there are no nice dresses for women these days. Sewing lesson for less experienced sewers…. For a good fit measure the back length to the waist on the pattern, to your back length to waist and alter (lengthen or shorten) if needed, or the waist will be in the wrong place when the dress is finished and result in a bad fit which will be unwearable. As all patterns are different, I alway measure all important parts of the pattern and compare to myself, then make the paper alterations, before the layout and cutting. Watch you tube vids for pattern alterations for guidance. Some vids are simple and others are more complicated depending on the alteration. Arrived on time and in good condition.

Der Schnitt ist gut, das Oberteil hat hinten einen Ausschnitt, siehe Foto, das wurde bei amazon nicht gezeigt. Das habe ich dann für mein Kleid geändert, das Oberteil sitzt gut, besonders wenn es ärmellos ist. Das Modell mit Arm finde ich nicht so gelungen, weil dann der Ärmel überschnitten ist und die Schultern breiter wirken. Mich stört es nicht, dass nicht alles auf deutsch geschrieben ist, weil die Teile als solche ja bezeichnet sind. Der Ausschnitt vorne ist klasse.
