R+Co Park Ave Blow Out Balm For Unisex 5 Oz Balm

So, I really don't write reviews very often. I've been a fan of the R + Co line of products for a while now, and I own just about half to 2/3 of the entire line up. For some reason, this never made it into my hands until a recent sale for Prime day.... let me tell you... wow. If you're like me, most of your products are layered when you're styling, when you want to actually put in the effort... I wanted to try out this product alone, whereas normally I'm using Waterfall, Dallas Spray, and Balloon at the very minimum.... So I washed my hair with Dallas Shampoo and Conditioner (guys, if you need some volume in your hair, that's the one), and then towel dried and combed to air dry just a bit. Once my hair was maybe 60% dry, I applied Park Ave and started to dry. In all of maybe 3-5 minutes with a round brush, my hair was looking better than it ever had with the stack of products I've used in the past. Truly, I was blown away. The texture of the cream is strange at first, and you don't really need a lot, but it has just the right amount of moisture and control. I never felt like I was pulling my hair too much as sometimes I do if I layer in mouse and hairspray for styling. Not all hair products are for every single hair type, so always keep that in mind when reading reviews good or bad, but THIS one... I'm not exaggerating when I say it's the best hair product I've ever used. I probably won't be re-purchasing half the lineup because this one is that good.

Packaged well and branded well and comes in a travel size tube for easy travel. No excuses to not protect your hair when travelling! ================ Performance: Excellent. This is perfect for helping style and protect your hair after a shower when you want to blow-dry it. I’ve only had experience using this with short hair, but I have found that if I apply this to damp hair, rub it in, and then use my blowdryer and comb to style – the result always comes out good. The cream hardens, but not to the point where it gets heavy or uncomfortable like Gel products – it creates a good enough hold that it’s able to hold a flatter hairstyle – if you’re looking to spike your hair, this is not the product. This is also a great hand cream – I know that isn’t the intended purpose, but in a pinch, it works well on skin too! My wife has this in the car as a backup for her hand cream so she can use it not only for her hair after a workout or sporting game, but also during the cold months to keep skin soft. ================ Overall: Very solid product and well branded.
