nippon kodoOEDO-KOH - Pine Tree(38205) 60 Sticks w/Incense Holder, Japanese Quality Incense

Bought this on a whim since I have always been fond of incense that has an earthy forest smell and this one does not disappoint. The packaging is cute and small with a tiny metal incense holder inside for the small sticks which linger a long time in our home. I would also recommend this as a small gift since the packing and wood box make for a neat surprise to open and smell.

If you are a fan of high quality Japanese incense, The Oedo Koh line of incense from Nippon Kodo is a nice option to try. This is short stick luxury incense, it burns about 10-12 minutes. The Pine Tree Scent is a pure and subtle green forest fragrance. Excellent for meditation or just enjoyment of the finer things in life.

I light this up right before bedtime. The scent is nice and lasts long after it burns. Takes less than 10 minutes to burn so don’t expect it to last too long. Strongly believe this scent helps me to relax and unwind and fall asleep quickly.

These small sticks are quite fragrant, enough to fill a room. And for the price I think it's worth it. I like the scent. It's nearly impossible to describe smells unless you have a common reference. Does this remind me of an ancient bath house? When I visit one for the first time I will update my review.

Not my favorite scent, but it is quite nice. The sticks are quite small and burn quickly, but it also came with a little metal plate which has been convenient with all of the incense I burn. 60 sticks should last a little while, so that's a plus.
