it is as described. Came in a new perfect box. The item is new. Much better value than any brick and morter auto parts store. Exact same product they were selling me for much less. I would buy from this seller again. Packaging was great. Part works fine. All around a very good experience.

Fit perfect, motorcraft for the win

Perfect. Make sure to use Ford Motorcraft RG-571 Seal to install.

Fit my 2003 Ford F-150 5.4L and works perfectly. I was too worried about the few degree temp differences to go aftermarket but buying on Amazon saved me half the price.

Bought this for my F150, I always try to use Motorcraft products when possible, and as far as the quality, this is a great item. My only complaint is that no seal is included. Every time I would search for a water neck gasket or seal to fit my 4.6l this item would pop up, so I assumed it included the seal, it does not, other brands did include the seal, but upon closer examination using the zoom feature, I noticed slight differences in finish and overall quality as compared to this thermostat. Overall, I'm happy with this one, but a seal would have been nice for it being nearly double the price of the Stant or Gates brands. Installs easily, and has me feeling more confident with the upcoming winter months just ahead. If you aren't concerned about using only Motorcraft parts, buy the cheaper thermostat, it's just a personal preference.

I did replaced this part with one from Napa 4 months ago and the coolant temp get way to much on dash and this one fix that, it keep the temp where needs to be. Highly recommend to anyone this thermostat, OEM product don’t let you down

2001 Ford Expedition 4.6L. Perfect fit. Just make sure you get the rubber seal for this.

Truck has over 240k miles. While towing a couple tons during the summer the engine overheated and blew the radiator. After replacing the radiator and giving the cooling system a nice flush, a heater core leak became apparent. Lucky me.When replacing the heater core and lines, it seemed logical to replace the weary thermostat. So far the engine has maintained a steady temp. Too bad the Spectra heater core is crap. I am already smelling antifreeze after only a month. What a POS. Always buy Motorcraft parts for your Ford. Cheap replacement parts get expensive when they fail just after the return period.
