Speck Products Presidio2 Grip Iphone 12 Pro Max Case, Vintage Rose/Royal Pink/Lush Burgundy/White

I already knew from the reviews that this case was not as grippy as the old ones. True. But it is somewhat more protective than most cases.My second concern is the color. There are three drab dark choices, black, dark grey, dark blue, and then Screaming Pink. I wanted something that I could find easily in the dark interior of my car, my bag or in my dark couches. The only choice was this horrible pink color. Why???

I have had several Speck cases. A new one with each phone since my first iPhone. I’ve always liked them and they saved my phones more than once. I even buy Speck cases for my mom and sister so I don’t have to worry about their phones getting destroyed if they happen to drop them in a parking lot or on the ceramic tile in the kitchen.I made the mistake of buying a different manufacturer’s case for my iPhone 12 Pro Max when I bought it and was sorry almost immediately. It was very slippery and kept slipping out of my hand as well as off the charging stand.At that point, I went back to my old friend Speck. I miss the hard shell cases and the pretty orchid pattern, but at least this one doesn’t slip off the charger (or out of my hands).

This is a strong, protective case with a great grip. I got this for my iPhone 12 Pro Max and planned to use it with my wireless charger. But it does not work because it is too thick, so be aware of that if you plan to use wireless charging. It will charge for a few minutes then repeatedly lose connection. So I had to get a new thinner case (Tech 21 Evo check which worked perfectly on my wireless charger).

Speck cases are not the same as older phone cases they used to make. These are hard plastic and slides all over the place. The “grips” aren’t gripping like older styles.

I ordered this in pink. I know lighter colors can get dirty more quickly but I assumed a brand like Speck used a finish that helped prevent that. Boy was I wrong! Just about 2 weeks in and this thing looks pretty gross. I've tried cleaning it and it doesn't help. Really Disappointed.
