Cranimals is a great product. I find that it helps keep my girl's teeth sparkling white. Both the original and gold formula helps with their teeth. On their site Cranimals claims that it helps keep mucous membranes healthy and I think this is why it helps keep the teeth white too. Our holistic vet recommended it for our Yorkies.

This stuff is great; I have even eaten it (Cranimals mixed with butter as a spread) and it is awesome! It really helps my dog and he loves the taste, too!

Ive been using Cranimals Gold for over a year. I originally started using it to help my Yorkie that was being treated for urine crystals and bladder stones. I took him off the vet prescribed dog food and switched to a canine appropriate raw diet and add 1/2 teaspoon of Cranimals Gold to his food twice a day. He has not developed any more bladder stones or had problems with urine crystals since doing this! I also give 1/2 teaspoon twice daily to my Shih Tzu that suffers with skin issues and allergies and he has greatly improved as well.

I ordered this for my 6 pound Yorkie in order to prevent UTI’s. It says on the directions to give one teaspoon for dogs 1 to 22 pounds. The first time I gave it to her I mixed 1 teaspoon in with her raw food. A few minutes later she threw up her entire meal and she never does this. I lowered the dose to 1/4 teaspoon and now she seems to be tolerating it fine. So just beware, you might have to adjust the dose a little more if you have a smaller dog. .

My cat had issues with bladder infections/crystals and was urinating blood for almost three years. Thousands of dollars and many many vet visits later, I finally decided that the vet wasn't working and I needed to do some research on my own. I switched my cat to a raw meat diet (using Know Better Pet Food as a supplement) and I mixed Cranimals original into his food at every feeding. Less than six months later was his last episode. Around November 2014, after his last infection, I switched him to Gold. He is still on his raw meat diet and loves it, but this added in has definitely helped him! Hasn't been sick in 6 months now, which is quite amazing (he was getting sick every 2-3 months for almost 3 years!).

I use this dietary supplement to acidify my dog's urine to prevent her from developing struvite crystals that can form bladder stones that can be associated with recurrent urinary tract infections. It works much better than the standard treatment recommended by my Vet after only one documented infection and finding crystals (but no stones) in her urine on multiple occasions. She continued to have crystals on standard dietary treatment, but none since starting Cranimals, 1 tsp with each feeding. She is on regular food with the Cranimals, has had no struvite crystals on urinalysis since starting the supplement, and has not had another infection in over a year.

For some reason I was thinking they were pieces and not a powder that you shake on the food . My dog did not like it at all!I was able to return one but kept one I ordered a total of two.

My two cats will not eat it. It maybe helpful for someone else, but not my cats. I don’t know how effective it would be on a UTI. I hope it works for someone.
