Keeps the pencils nice and sharp, so far so good!

No instructions.Had difficulty discovering and getting to the battery storage space. That done, when we use the smaller side of the sharpener, both sides rotate. This makes it louder and draws down the batteries (of which there are 4 not 2). We decided this is very inefficient and not energy appropriate. We would have preferred a single sharpener for the larger diameter pencils. We will probably recycle this eventually if we can find a single sharpener (like these models because we do like the design and portability). We also like that we can replace the sharpener blade as needed. Finding the replacements may be more challenging. Overall: Convenient, Yes However, energy wasteful, loud, fills holding a very quickly.Off to search for a similar design, but only for larger barrel pencils.

Unfortunately there were no replacement parts that I could find for this. Adored this sharper though.

Works great and stops when sharp

I was looking for something to put inMy shop to sharpen my round carpenter pencils and this has worked well. Very cost effective. Have only had a few weeks but I am satisfied that it does the job.

I am very happy with this replacement pencil sharpener. It even sharpened pencils that refused to be sharpened with my old pencil sharpener. I LOVE IT!!
