Perfect size to tuck away in side pocket of most any golf bag.Stainless steel not only doesn't rust, when put away "wet", does not corrode and freeze like aluminum.Orange ball cage is quite visible in murky pond water.When fully extended, total reach is approx fourteen feet which seems more than adequate for most retrievals I've encountered.I've owned mine for four years. It still looks and operates like new.I was demonstrating to an interested friend, and found that it still had a bit of water on the telescoping tubing from the last pond, but no corrosion.If this one somehow ends up missing, I will certainly get a another just like it.

Not good. The telescoping sections do not lock when you extend the pole which prevents you from being able to move a ball to get it positioned to pick up. Additionally, during my fourth round using it, the smallest section pulled out from the rest of the retriever. I like a basket type retriever but this one is pretty junky.

Doesnt work well in tight places, ie, mangroves. But everywhere else it is the best. Sturdy, expandable and very functional.

This collects balls better then any other retriever I have used.

This golf ball retriever works great. I wish I had ordered one with greater reach. I have fished out several hundred dollars worth of golf balls with this. It has paid for itself ten times over.

Be careful when purchasing a retriever from amazon. The first retriever I received was broken and had to send it back. The next retriever I received was not the same one I had ordered. At this point I was just glad to have a retriever and I kept it. Not really sure if I will buy anything else from Amazon.com. Unsatisfied customer, Sean Anderson
