Easy to get on and off.

My 4 year old is in his second year skating and hated these. They go down to a shoe size 9. I ended up buying a real pair of hockey skates as my kid kept falling and cried the whole time and hated them. Might be better for someone who has not skated before.

Bought these for my 2.5 year old son. These are very high quality, they look like the came sharpened though I did go over the blade with my hand sharpener just to tighten up the edges, and I love the adjustment feature - they should fit my son for several winters I hope... As others have noted, it is a bit weird the plastic straps are so long and go inside the skate. One reviewer mentioned drilling holes in the skates for the strap to exit out through, though I found it much easier to just cut off the extra length with scissors, as it is not like the girth of a child's foot is going to change that much over the 2-3 winters he/she can use these. Cutting off the extra length worked perfect.

Really adjustable, but I drilled a hole in the side so the plastic strap could go outside the shell instead of inside. My 3 year old's foot is small, so we had to crank the straps, but that put more strap inside the shell, which was uncomfortable b/c it pinched. Not sure why you'd design an adjustable hard shell so the hard strap goes inside next to the foot?But they're otherwise very functional and inexpensive. You DO need to have them sharpened before the first use.

These skates are easy to adjust the sizes. The buckles are stiff at first and hard to tighten the first few times. They do become easier to use. These are a great buy for kids since their feet grow quickly. I thought the ankle support was great and her feet stay warm too.

Perfect for my kiddos under 6... But the buckles are a little hard... Not the highest quality buckle but great for little kids! ( our top buckles keep popping open but the bottom ones are hard to open) great for prove as they will last a few seasons due to adjustable sizing!

My son likes them. They fit great, and he's had no discomfort wearing them tright out of the box. The straps are a little difficult to release, but secure positively. Blades were sharp enough out of the box that he was able to put them on and go with no touch up needed.
