Great replacement for our headset cable chewed up by our cat.Works well and you don’t need to hope oem is in stock.

Cable is exactly as expected, arrived on time and works great.

Worked for 10 minutes and then started making loud popping noises all the time. I wish steel series made their own replacement cord because this is very poorly made.

The cable works for audio, but will not allow you to change the color of your headset.

2026: Re-purchased it this time. It kinda works. I had to get a new one of these because my cat chewed my old one. But besides having to buy a new cord for my headset the cord itself works great and it doesn’t have problems with the connection like I was worried about with buying a new cord. And in my review I left a picture of the cord and the one responsible for causing me to buy a new one

Constant noise from the mic input, even when the cable is only attached on the DAC side. It even picks up all of your headphones sounds when muted and creates an earbleeding feedback loop. Even tested it on my mobile device, it still picks up the whole audio. There must be some grounding/shielding issue somewhere. Very unfortunate as the people from steelseries refuse to produce replacement cables for their customers.
