I struggle with vaginal asphropy due to post menopause and RA meds. It is very painful and uncomfortable. It took me a while to figure things out. Obgyn rec. estrogen inserts but does not work for me. I tried vit.E oil it leaves things oily. I tried other products either too thick or too thin. Sage is the only product that gives me immediate relief. It went off market for a while and I panicked. Call Fairhaven to inquire. Now I see it's back on. Thank God!!. I love the consistency of it and it smells like roses. It is the best. I use it every other day sometimes I might mix with Replens. I use liners during the day if needed. But usually use at night. Not messy like others. It use to be cheaper but I guess I have to pay the cost. Sad of the price as is for women issues. But so far I'm pleased 😀

This moisturizer is light with a clean smell. The only problem is it isn't always in stock just like some other vaginal moisturizers.

I purchased this as it was glycerine free and had the correct pH and isotonic. I experienced surgical menopause due to cancer treatment and a radical hysterectomy be required. As a result, I have genitourinary syndrome of menopause or VA (Vaginal Atrophy). The product had a great texture. It felt like I used to feel. Easy to fill the applicator and insert 1-3 grams. It is necessary to apply before bedtime and after you have hopefully used the bathroom for the last time of the night, however with surgical menopause syndrome when you lay down at night you may have to get up an hour later and urinate and have a full bladder all of a sudden. The estrogen deficiency (technically a normal change in women but urinary urgency can indicate severe or atrophy that requires medical treatment and hormone management treatment) ) of menopause affects urinary and urethral tissues as well.The product can leak out when urinating soon after application at times. By morning everything that remains is very sticky and toilet paper can adhere after urination.I found this very incredibly terribly unpleasant. I went from feeling like my labia minora feeling like sandpaper and irritated to feeling like they were glued together.Clary sage is a herbal floral scent similar to Rosemary. That is not a natural smell especially for a vagina. Scented products should not be used on the vulva or in the vagina. It certainly was a strong enough cent to make me ever think twice about using this product before I would ever have intimate contact again.A speck on my finger tip provides comfort externally and temporarily but the scent of the name makes this product unusable by me as does the fact that overnight it is partially absorbed and leaves a sticky paste remaining.It might be suitable for women who are uncomfortable with their natural scent or trying to mask it or possibly do not engage in intimate activities that make a strong scent awkward or uncomfortable. It does not taste pleasant or just like water. Even with the xylose, it is not pleasant for oral sex. I licked a dab on my finger tip and it was simply not acceptable like a couple other products I have tried that have the no-taste of healthy watery natural vaginal secretions.I genuinely wanted to like this. I truly wanted this product to work for me . I tried this product for three weeks. I have half or more of a tube sitting in my vanity now for emergency use because this product is simply not right for me.If you are comfortable using a scented product or have a partner and your partner prefers scented products, you may enjoy this. If it works for you, that’s wonderful and I am so glad you found something that makes you both comfortable and confident! I cannot recommend this product for someone I was confident and comfortable before cervical cancer and cancer treatment and who enjoyed their natural lubrication and was confident and secure with their body naturally. A healthy vagina should have a slightly musky oceanic usually neutral and highly variable scent based on hormones, hydration, arousal, and vaginal health status, not a very strong herbaceous floral scent.I cannot recommend this product for someone I was confident and comfortable before cervical cancer and cancer treatment and is looking for something non-hormonal and without glycerin as a vaginal moisturizer as it can thicken and become quite sticky and lead to discomfort.
