Super Lube 12016 Air Tool Lubricant, 1 pint Bottle, Translucent Clear

I have always bought product from this company they make very good oils and lubes.

I needed air tool oil, have always been impressed with the performance of Superlube products (which always do what the description says they'll do), and so I bought this.I haven't actually used any in my air tools yet but I'm sure that it will be fine.Interestingly: It's food-grade, meeting various specifications for being so according to the label.It has the consistency and colorless transparency of a medium-light mineral oil, and feels like mineral oil between my fingers. I do not detect any meaningful odor. I worked some into the hinge on my Spyderco pocket knife and its operation improved from needs-work to buttery-smooth.That said: For what seems to be a very simple mineral oil (I can find no claim of it being synthetic), this is actually fairly expensive. But it does come in a convenient package, it doesn't stink, and it is food grade. I'd rather have this stuff spraying out all over myself from the exhaust ports of my rattle-gun and nailer than stuff that does stink, is not transparent, and isn't food-grade: It matters to me every time I wipe the sweat from my brow or think about eating a snack with my hands.If I someday use a lot of it (and I probably never will), I can easily order larger containers from a local distributor.And if it ever disappoints me, I'll be sure to update this review.

Does the job

I ordered this brand because I heard of it, and know it's been around for a while. Seems to work fine on my nail gun, it still works (the nail gun) after using this with it for the first time. Not a huge bottle, but it only takes a few drops, so will likey get plenty of use out of it. Worth the investment to keep my expensive equipment lubed up.

Works as advertised and is right in line with the rest of Super Lubes products. Add a little to the inlet port of you air tools or to the reservoir of an in-line oiler and you're good to go!

I use this line for everything from garage items to tools. Anything with hinges and anything that makes creaking sounds this will work wonders.

this works, I am thinking I either threw out or didn't get the little cap, so be careful when opening not to toss it.

Great Stuff ! Been using it on my Spring Piston Air Rifle, and also on ANY O-rings I have for years and this is the SH* T !!!! Super Lube is an often unknown lube to homeowners, but I've used it for years in the Soda industry for O-rings/Seals etc. It's phenomenal stuff. It also works great for it's intended use- ...Air tools. Keeps them working smooth and happy. I recommend this stuff, and Super Lube Silicone Grease for any Poly suspension bushings on Cars/Trucks. Stops squeaks and doesn't harm the rubber. Take this from a pro, Super Lube is expensive, but a little goes a long way and protects and keeps your expensive tools and parts working happily for a long time. Love it !Johnny NH
