We need minerals topically, not just orally!
I'm using this product to help saturate my body with minerals (especially magnesium) after experiencing severe antibiotic-induced tendonitis (Ciprofloxacin and Levaquin). I had been using Ancient Minerals magnesium chloride bath flakes, but it occurred to me that I could be getting a broad spectrum of minerals instead. I've had very poor oral absorption of minerals compared to my husband, apparently due to leaky gut/microbiome issues, which is also apparently the result of the fluoroquinolone antibiotics. I'm really grateful to have a broad-spectrum mineral bath salt that is also affordable. I put in about ~4-6 cups per bath and stay in for 30-60 minutes. The water feels very soft and tastes salty. FYI, I also add 1000-2000 mg of ascorbic acid or sodium ascorbate to the bath water, to neutralize the chlorine. In general, taking magnesium and other minerals topically and orally has completely resolved my decades-long very tenacious constipation, and has made a dramatic improvement in the insomnia that started right after taking Ciprofloxacin several years ago. Apparently there are some benefits to getting minerals topically rather than just orally - most of us have some degree of leaky gut and so don't absorb them orally very well, and also, topical magnesium stimulates DHEA production, which is one of our upstream hormones that produces a lot of other hormones (see Transdermal Magnesium Therapy). And, our food supply is just depleted of minerals because our soils are depleted. Minerals are absolutely foundational to good health. Whatever your disease state is, it will be helped by saturating yourself with minerals, which is easier to do when combining oral and topical. For oral minerals, I'm currently taking Concentrace tablets.

I don't think it's pure dead sea salt
I have been using dead sea salt from many different brands for years. I use to live in Israel and visited dead sea every weekend. I am familiar with how dead sea salt should feel and taste in water. This doesn't feel or taste anything like authentic dead sea salt. I bought this cause it was around 50% cheaper than what I usually order, but I'll just go order the one I used to use. This product is really disappointing, just like a bag of regular sea-salt.

Hmmmmm...
I have used dead sea salt from the major US suppliers for years for bathing. This did not feel or taste like any product I have used before. I have doubts on the origin.

Fraud! Not Dead Sea salt
I have had psoriasis for over 40 years and have used lots of Dead Sea salt to treat my skin. Real Dead Sea salt contains only about 30% NaCl so it tastes terrible and you shouldn’t eat it. It tastes nothing like table salt so they are easy to tell apart. I accidentally got some of this salt in my mouth and it tastes like regular old table salt! Not only is it not beneficial for my psoriasis but it is disastrous for my septic system. Table salt and sea salt are not only bad for the septic microbes but corrosive to the concrete of the tank as well! Buyer beware!

Don't think its 100% sea salt
I am 28 and have been using dead sea salt for my eczema for years. All different brands due to availability ect. I tried this salt because the price was unbelieveable... now I see why it's so cheap. I think it's not 100%. Doesn't burn my eczema the way I high concentration of sea salt does and my skin is getting worse while using this. In switching back to Minerva
