The stop watch is number 1!
This bad boy is brilliant! Ive timd street lights with it.. the maximum time a car takes to reach me when Im on a skate board.. found out most highways in my city.. cars take from 20 to 40 seconds to reach me when they are obeying the speed limit.. found out most street lights switch after 30-45 seconds.. so i got atleast 30 seconds with most street last to cross the road before the light turns and before a hurd of cars come... i love it because its fast, effective and it does resit water very well.. ive used it in raid.. not sure if it was heavy rain.. but i carry it every where with me and i even use it as an extra alarm for daily tasks when im running through the city.. the quality of this stop watch is top nothc! tough material! to some the strign may be a little cheap but to me.. i think its not cheap. i think its awesome material.. but some others may want more strong string.. but if you do the strings in this stop watch are easily replaceable.. the buttons work very nice and very easy to push and they are very very fun to play with.. i find myself timeing each car that passes by me just for laughs.,.

Perfect just as the other 5 stars have said
Pros: No annoying time, day, date, alarm function. Whew. It's just an excellent, does what you want stop watch with a superb count down timer. For like a minute, when it hits zero, it beeps twice and shuts up. For longer times, it will beep times 5 seconds before the end and then one long beep (and stops beeping). BUT then, at the end, it begins counting UP, if you go passed the end of the time, you can see how long passed. Perfect for doing that excertise another few seconds or so. Each button press has excellent tactile feedback, presses with just the right about of pressure, and a quite gentle beep. Also if you need it, it has both split (freeze but keep timing) and Lap (freeze but start over with each press). Best stopwatch function I've ever seen. Best thought out. And the count down, resets to your original when finished. Perfect for timing the same amount over and over.

Fits the Workout Bill Nicely.
I weight train six days a week and I like to keep the muscles burning, so I don't wait any more than 60 seconds between sets. And since I don't want to keep count in my head (how tedious, not to mention it's distracting on so many levels) I use a stop watch. I recently purchased the "Oslo Silver 2.0 Twin Stopwatch" based on the strength of its reviews and the look and seemingly simplistic functionally of the unit. So far I have been disappointed in the functionality of the "Oslo Silver 2.0 Twin Stopwatch". The numbers are large and easy to read, the push buttons easy to use, and that is all I need in a stop watch. I don't need it to tell time, display the date or jump fences, I just need it to count up to 60 seconds, and this unit does so consistently! I would highly recommend it.

Counting down
I love it when things are simple and work. This stopwatch has three buttons: Start/Stop, Reset, and Set. I need it to countdown when I am exercising, etc. I just push the right button to start, the right button to stop, the left button to reset, and I am ready to go again. Setting it for the countdown time is just as easy. The Oslo Silver 2.0 Twin is lightweight but sturdy. It comes with a "lanyard," which is actually just a shoestring. It works, though, which I suppose is what it is all about. It is the right size and shape to hold and operate with one hand. It also does the typical stopwatch functions, including split laps, etc. I can't comment on those features, since I never use them.

Works Well, Easy to Read
This is a good product that works well and is pretty easy to use. It comes with a convenient cord for hanging around your neck, in case you're going to use it as a stop watch at sporting events. The size did surprise me when I opened the box. I didn't really expect it to be as large as it is, but that could play either way. The larger size could be bad if you carry a lot of junk in your pockets and expected to put it there, on the other hand though, it is a real advantage if you want a timer that is easy to see and easy to read, even the hundredths of a second.

Okay, but not exactly as described
It's a fine stopwatch at a pretty decent price. If you look around, though, you'll find few stopwatches that report having a "Countdown Timer" and this is exactly why I bought this watch: to have a countdown timer. But the description is not accurate. From the product description: """ Countdown timer with time remaining and an audible alarm at completion """ First, the audible alarm comes BEFORE completion. You get one or two beeps per second for the last 5 seconds. Secondly, there is no COMPLETION -- the watch keeps counting. At 0, it switches from counting *down* to counting *up*... so suddenly my 60 second countdown turned into an unexpected array of alarms and final timestamp of "+5" seconds... Sure, with a few uses, you can get used to this type of working. But I bought it to help work with friends, not all of whom have me always timing their activities. So this not so normal "countdown timing" threw them off a little. Still looking for one that will just countdown the set time and beep at completion!

Great Stopwatch at a Good Price
I purchased the Oslo 2.0 Stop watch to be used in timing a manufacturing process during an evaluation at a facility. We purchased six of them to test different areas at the same time with diverse people. The stopwatch is operated flawlessly and did not require any intense training on how to use. The stopwatches are rugged enough to withstand several months of testing. The stopwatches themselves are very easy to use right out of box. We are very satisfied with the purchase of the Oslo Silver 2.0 stopwatch.

UNCONTROLLABLE BEEPING ONCE I OPENED THE PACKAGE
This is my first ever review on Amazon and the first product that I was unhappy with. The second I opened the package the stopwatch started beeping uncontrollably and wouldn't stop. I tried everything to stop it to no avail. Being at work I had no choice but to put a hammer to it. I should have looked and realized this product like everything else was made in China. I decided I will no longer buy anything made in China. BUY AMERICAN

Simple and Sturdy
I need a simple, robust, easy to use stopwatch for timing single events. This product fits the bill nicely. It fits in the palm comfortably. The buttons have a tactile détente and emit a small beep when pressed. (The sound might be an issue if you require totally quiet operation, but it’s perfect for my purposes.) The display is large and easily visible. The current mode (Split, Lap and Countdown) appears in the display, unlike some stopwatches that only show some combination of blinking digits or symbols. With the Oslo you always know what mode you’re in. I’ve only had it for a few days, so I can’t speak to durability. However, it feels solid and well made. It cost about the same as the previous Sportline 240 I had, and is much more satisfactory in every way. Highly recommended if you need a simple, sturdy stopwatch.

Simple and to the point -- I love my new Stopwatch
For the past 10 years, I used a TERRIBLE stop-watch. The buttons were unresponsive and would constantly double/triple click, and the display was dark and small. My reasoning was that... it wasn't worth the money. Who cares if I have to hit a couple extra buttons? Heck, I used to run kickboxing classes and time sparring with that piece of crud. I used my phone here and there with various timing programs, but in my mind, there's no replacement for a good, simple stopwatch. Most times, I just want to push a button. Using Amazon reviews as my guide, I finally caved and bought the Oslo 2.0. •• The Good •• Frankly, I couldn't be happier with it. The display is large and easy to view -- even if I'm timing handstands and have to check it at strange angles. The buttons are a strong point, so don't fear that department. They're tactile and extremely responsive without any double-click shenanigans. I suspect they'll last quite awhile. I say that because, while the unit doesn't feel expensive, it doesn't feel particularly cheap, either. The stopwatch has a decent heft, and the parts are well-put together. There's no obvious gaps or weak, glue points. I also appreciate its simplicity. Button-wise, it's just start/stop, mode, and reset. Couldn't be easier. •• A Weakness for Some •• One con is that it doesn't have a back light. I still find it readable in low-light, daytime situations, but if you NEED it for night time activities, I recommend going with this model: Oslo 60-67764 60 Dual Memory Stopwatch . •• Conclusion •• If you want a well-made, simple stop-watch on the cheap, this is a perfect solution. I've used it for two months and will report if I encounter any issues; though, I sincerely doubt I will. Thanks for reading. Hope this helped!

The buttons already stopped working after 1 month!
The buttons have already stopped working after 1 month. It says it comes with a one-year warranty - but it does not list an address or phone number to contact if you have any warranty issues. Don't waste your money on this one!
