Beautiful and fun book!!
This is a beautiful and fun book that allows the child to learn and discover things simply while having fun. The book tells of young James, cook of the ship Cutty Sark, looking for tea to offer his captain for breakfast, through Australia, South Africa and finally China, where James meets animal friends (typical of each country) who they help him in his research. The book traces the true story of James Robson, who was indeed the ship's cook from 1885 to 1895, and the actual places the ship visited, through an intelligently written story and engaging and captivating illustrations that grab the attention of even the adults, as well as children.Fantasy and historical reality are perfectly mixed.
