Golden Books The Sweet Smell of Christmas

The scent patches are very small and only faintly smell. More like an unpleasant chemical odor. I remember this book from when my daughter was little and the patches were large and the scents were exactly what you would expect. Very disappointed and would only recommend if you just want a picture book.

I was looking for a Christmas book for my two year old and bought this. It is a lovely little book about an adorable little bear and his Christmas experience. There are 6 pages where you can scratch and sniff to discover christmassy smells like pine , peppermint candy canes and apple pie among others. The pages are thin paper so my son will have to be very careful with it but it really is lovely, very pleased with it

I was absolutely over the moon when I came across this book while searching for some Christmas books for my kids. I had completely forgotten about it from my childhood but the instant I saw it on amazon all the memories and smells came flooding back. It was my favourite Christmas book for years and years. It arrived today and it felt like Christmas for me! All the same smells, same lovely story and pictures. I can't wait to read it my my 3 little ones tomorrow and make new memories with them.

I loved this book as child and love reading it to my son now. He loves the scratch and sniff... Even though the smell has faded quite significantly over the past year.

Bought a few scratch and sniff books but this was by far the worst. Hardly any scent?
