Pass for me
The main story of Liv and Savannah was just about ok and then we get a deluge of other characters and it was so hard to keep up or care to. Btw not like Love Actually at all! Having several characters does not make it Love Actually!!

Not my kind of book
This book is inclusive of just about everyone but has some serious plot holes, unrealistic events, and adults acting like children. It’s a no for me.

Great multi - romance novel
It Had To Be You, This charming romantic comedy, with its diverse ensemble cast, offers something for everyone. No matter where you’re from, what you look like, what age group you are in, what you believe in, or who you love, you will find someone in the story who you can relate to, root for, and adore! Georgia Clark does a magnificent job of inclusion and representation. There were so many different storylines intertwined that at first I wasn't sure how I would like this format and keeping everyone’s story straight, but it became clear very quickly that the way it was written, I just wanted to see what happened with all of the couples and what they had to go through to find themselves and their happiness. A book that leaves a warm fuzzy feeling and a love for humans in all their different ways !

Not your usual rom com
Unusual twists as several couples wind there way towards love. Several plot turns were predictable but still enjoyable. I liked the variety of gay straight different ethnicity and income levels represented. I read it straight through

Really sweet
I’m not sure it 100% worked the way it was meant to (the blurb I read compared it to Love Actually, but sometimes the structure of the book with each chapter focusing on a different couple felt forced and broke the narrative rather than enhancing it? But overall I loved most of the characters, and I loved how they felt like real people, how they changed in positive and believable ways from the beginning to end, and (most importantly) how I finished it feeling the warm fuzzies that a good romance novel should provide.

Something for everyone
The reason I liked the book is different love stories told in time sequence. I really like happy endings. characters were interesting and good. Great beach read.

Such a beautiful & inclusive novel
The inclusivity (LGBTQ+, racial, identities) had me in tears more that I can count! I’ve recommended this book to all my friends, and want all teens/young adults to read this-to let them know they’re not alone, that your situation may be unique, but you are loved, and deserving of love. This is a great book & would also make for a beautiful movie.

Laughing, crying, sharing
The cover lured me but the text kept me. I didn’t expect the mixture of relationships and races, but Clark’s novel has affected me in a profound way. I may ask my book club if this can be the next read.

Really good contemporary romance novel
I bought this book because I became part of an online book club and really enjoyed it. I have been reading a lot of romance novels lately, authored by some of my favourite veteran romance writers, but it was nice to read something with more contemporary references and there was a lot of diversity in the five relationships in this book. I just got delivery of one of her other books a day ago and am enjoying the start of that book. I hope she writes more romance novels as I understand from an interview through our book club that this is her first rom-com.
