FromannOval 2 Button 5 Pin Okin Switch Side Hand Control Handset for Power Recliner Lift Chairs

My mother's Catnapper recliner would recline but wouldn't go back down. After trouble shooting online, I decided to first purchased this switch because it was the cheapest part and the easiest to change. Before disassembling the old switch, I unplugged the old switch and plugged in the new one to see if this was the problem. With the new switch plugged in, the chair worded flawlessly. I then unscrewed the old switch and attached the new one. I would highly recommend changing this switch out before calling for service.

We have a Catnapper Chaise Recliner that was purchased several years back. It was originally in our tv room and didn't get much use. A few months back we moved it to our living room and started using it daily. To me it was practically brand new since it was hardly sat in. Within a few months it quit reclining. Found this switch here and decided to take a chance. So thankful it worked and we now have a functioning recliner. Such a simple fix!

hand control switch is the most likely reason for failure to operate my lift chair. I REPLACE ONE OF THESE ABOUT ONCE A YEAR. plug compatible with my golden tech ( ORKIN ) lift chair. I Keep ACOUPLE of these on hand for when the switch becomes flaky. very good value for the price. LASTS LONGER FOR ME THAN THE OEM SWITCH.

The handheld control died on my Best Home Furnishings Power Recliner. I looked at a number of replacements on Amazon and due to good reviews, went with the Fromann Oval 2 Button 5 Pin Okin Switch Side Hand Control Handset for Power Recliner Lift Chairs. It was easy to replace the old one and works perfectly. The new one seems to be high quality and well made. Definitely worth the price.

The side button on my Jackson Catnapper went out, that is to say the 'down' button just stopped working all together. The company itself ran me in circles and just overall didn't seem to understand what the issue was. I was a little unsure about taking the old part out in order to replace it with this one, but I'm glad I stopped trying to work with the company.The button itself was a bit bigger than the old one, and it was a touch bit of a pain to get through the chair in order to put on. However once that part was over with the button works like a dream. Just ensure you keep the screws from the old piece and have a couple of twisty-ties to hold the cord up out of the way of the motor.
