The Data Shark is a good basic CAT 5 cable maker. It seems to have problems cutting the wires and isn't that good at stripping the shielding off of the CAT5 cable. But it is a simple, low-cost, capable tool

Excellent for DIY'ers and maybe for professionals too. Well made and works perfectly every time. I was able to make all the connections without a problem.

and this may be my fault for not reading the description completely, I didn't realize that this tool has no ratcheting mechanism. It is hand power only crimping. So if you have arthritis move along.

I borrowed this tool from a friend, work very well as a RJ crimper. I use a separate tool for stripping the cable so the stripping capability is not rated here.

I was a little hesitant purchasing this tool because it was almost half the price of the others. No need to worry, I had no problems making rj45 patch cables with this tool. Worked as stated.

Still got the product, it did everything it claimed , very easy to use and well made construct. Well done.
