Best bang for your buck
Sometimes the bail lever won't go but you just have to reel up one crank and it goes. took me a while to figure that out, bit of a flawed design. Otherwise the drag is plenty useable although it could be better but at the price range you can't expect much. You won't find a better line counting reel at this price range. It seems small when you unpack it but holds tons of line - don't worry.

If using leadcore line, get bigger model.
It was a pretty decent reel, although it did make a little ticking noise when reeling in (even on the silent mode). The BIGGEST issue however for me was that if you want to put LEADCORE line on this real, you will NOT be able to fit a full 100yds. you are gonna have to cut about 10 to 15 yds off. That was the biggest disappointment for me since i was buying for that exact purpose. i ended up returning the 20dx model and bought the bigger 30dx model instead. now the whole 100yds fit on the reel and im happy with it so far.

Good little reel for the money. 190 yards of 25lb braid and it’s still not full. Will probably add 30 yards of lead core as well.

Nice to get back to the exact distance of line you had out trolling when you have caught a fish.
I like for the size of the reel that it is fairly light so should be a pleasure to fish all day. I will be using this to troll for Striped Bass here in New Brunswick.Bob
