They're cheap and they work!
It's hard to mess up a string tree, but non the less. These are really good, I actually ordered two of these because i thought it was just two in a pack. So i ordered two to get four. But then the post man showed up with eight. I was really pleasantly surprised to be honest.Setup was easy, unscrew the old ones and put the new ones in. Although try to use the original screw for the new string trees, because that's what your guitar is threaded for.If you're un aware, roller style string trees are better than the "clip" style trees because they can roll with the string instead of creating friction, this reduces the likeliness of strings snapping and keeps the guitar in tune for longer. In conclusion, i would recommend these completely. They're the best mod you can do to your guitar for under ÂŁ5, and i will probably be purchasing more of these for future guitars.

Not worth the effort
Positives:You get 4 2-string trees. They are very cheap for what you get.Negatives:The wheels do not rotate independently of each other, so one string fights against the other. There is significant rocking/wiggle on the axis, which could potentially affect tension balance between strings.Three of the four trees stuck at some point in rotation (one wouldn't complete 1 rotation).Use:I only needed one tree, so I used the best one. After the other reviews' warnings, I used the original Fender tree screw to fix it. I positioned the tree for the minimum displacement/tension on the E/B strings and retuned. Conclusion:After slackening and tightening the E string it was sharp. It returned to pitch after a bend. Absolutely no better than the vintage tree I was using before. Waste of time. Avoid.

Roller guitar string trees.
In the fine detail, these items are of medium quality. However they are easy to install and provide a smooth route for the strings up to the nut. What is really good is that the guide wheels are at the same height as the tuning posts, so all the strings lie parallel. Even though I only wanted two, you get four in a pack plus screws and a stiff plectrum. I'd have preferred two very good quality rather than four medium quality and a plectrum, but there you go. Once fitted you don't notice the minor imperfections, which do not affect their function as roller string trees. Be aware that the supplied screws are poor quality, so make sure you have drilled 2 mm pilot holes to reduce the torque needed to screw them into the headstock. I drilled a 1.5 mm pilot first time and the screw sheared off, but soon fixed and 2 mm pilot holes sorted the problem. I also put candle wax on the screw threads to make sure they did not bind.

Hmmmm The Screws are worthless...
Whatever you do, don’t use the Screws that they include they are made of cheese. The Tree’s look like they are made of silver plastic, but don’t look as bad once on the Guitar. The Wheels don’t rotate independently, and that’s a bummer. If you have a really good guitar, or you are fussy don’t buy these. But if your looking just to get rid of the flimsy bent metal ones to make your Guitar look a little better then they are ok.Saying that, I wouldn’t buy them again.

Updated review
I've started my 2nd guitar project and thought i'd buy these again cause i liked the last set and had no problem with them, This time while screwing into pilot holes i drilled one of the screws just sheared off leaving a nice broken off screw in my nice new neck, The tree's themselves are brilliant and can't fault them, But the screws are a weak as piss so get better screws
