Great as a media device
This has been installed behind our tv, mounded on the wall using the screw slots in the back of the mini pc. Size is perfect and port connections are placed pot easy access when wall mounted.I am using this as a 4K media device to play to our tv with a remote touchpad and keyboard, along with setting up some custom keyboard shortcuts and having media buttons in the controls this has worked perfectly for its intended purpose.Windows comes preinstalled and computer is up and running very quickly. With 4gb of ram, a decent processor and graphics card this is very capable of being a media device, initial startup does take some time for it to run smoothly after a fresh install, updates ect plus installation of new programs. After about two days once everything was configured and customised it’s running very smoothly.Ssd expansion is very easy, one screw and a button to remove top cap and stick the ssd in and viola.Ethernet port is working fine, initially set up with WiFi which seemed okay but I always use Ethernet where possible to increase speeds. The fan kicks in when multi tasking, when I’m fiddling with the pc ports ect behind the tv it does sound a bit loud in a confined space but when we are sitting using it to watch media its position behind the tv leaves it quiet enough to go unnoticed.Overall a good purchased and nice project to work on.Please vote helpful if you found this review helpful.

Perfect little steaming box / pc hub for my TV
Most weekends I'm hooking up my laptop to my 65 inch TV so that we can either stream something through Amazon video, or the kids can watch youtube, or more recently during lock down have a zoom meeting for their dance class or golf lessons. I decided that instead of having to pull my laptop down from my office, id grab a small mini pc to do this for me. I'd been recommended ACEPC by a friend who had a similar set up and spotted this one with Windows 10 preloaded and 4gb Ram and an entry level intel Celeron processor. I wanted the extra ram so that it was a bit quicker with loading that the 2gb you can get and for the money i felt this was the best bang for buck.when unpacking, it's clear it a nice looking little box, which is great as mine is sat on show by my tv. I have a wireless keyboard and mouse set, which i use to navigate around- essential I would say so make sure you pick up a set. Once you turn it on, you have to set up windows first time, which as a windows 10 owner on my laptop I could log into my existing Microsoft account and boot it from there. Simple and after a few minutes of downloads and updates It was ready to go.I've downloaded Amazon video to start with and that works just fine with streaming what i flicked through. But the main requirement for first use was to download zoom and let my daughter do her dance class. I have a usb camera which I plugged into and it quickly downloaded the drivers and worked great.I have a portable hard drive which i have movies on and have added that to it to stream some digital content.Overall really pleased with the little box and how much easier it makes my weekends than unpugging and plugging in my laptop all the time.

A brilliant small computing device.
Absolutely brilliant mini PC. Like many, I was sceptical that this all looked too good to be true. But I'm now using it for all daily computing, and it is just fantastic.he small amount of RAM inevitably limits performance. Running Firefox and Word simultaneously is possible, but - especially if you have too many tabs open, or you're playing video - it occasionally slows down.Inserting the SD card was fiddly. I knew it had to be inserted upside-down, of course; it took a while to catch (I thing the catch mechanism must be set a little further inside than I expected). And that's it for negatives. The video output is great - better than my ageing monitor can handle, certainly - and I've added a thumb drive and an external HDD with no difficulty at all.I wouldn't want it as my main computer, because of the performance, but that's not what these are intended as - and, to be honest, I could work around the performance issue if I had to.
