My favorite canned coffee drink.
Fantastic coffee! The world would be a better place if this were more widely available and in every flavor like in Japan. Great pick me up. Delicious flavor. Great hot, cold, or room temp. Japan spoiled me with these and now I'm obsessed.

Small cans- strong sweet and delicious.
Amazing canned coffee product imported from Japan. Strong, cold and just the right size. In Japan it is available hot from vending machines.

Mini Size, Big Taste
Perfect shot of espresso. It’s as if I was at a 7-11 in Japan again. Caffeine content and taste is worth the money. Its mini size is perfect to fit into my pocket when I’m running out of the house too.

Great product but the price hurts the wallet
I love these coffees a lot. I like to buy a case to keep on hand for the days that I'm feeling sluggish or having a hard time rolling out of bed since they give more caffeine than a 20oz soda at a literal fraction of the calories. I'd make them a part of my daily routine if not for the fact they run so expensive. At $45 for a case of 12 it's just not viable for every day drinking.

My favorite beverage on the face of the earth
Was never a coffee person until I went to Japan. I’ve tried Starbucks, Dunkin, local coffee houses near me, and sure I like a hot chocolate every now and then, but never could I get into coffee. The bitterness was always too much. But then I went to Japan, and tried this canned coffee at the recommendation of a friend who bought it at FamilyMart on a whim. Immediately, my life transformed before my very eyes. I became buff. Women threw themselves at me. All of my problems solved themselves. I got my dream job. I became rich. I was no longer mentally ill. And most importantly of all, I found a coffee I actually liked. It’s got just the right blend of sweet and bitter that doesn’t make me want to spit it out immediately. I love this coffee so much I make a 6oz can last 2-3 hours. Any quicker would be sacrilege. It’s a shame it costs so much money but the financial burden is worth it to me, because it’s a nice little treat in the morning which also helps curb my body’s apparent constant need for sugar (only 20% DV? Crazy!!). Don’t go for that crappy canned Starbucks you see at convenience stores, go the extra mile and get BOSS coffee, because it will change your life like it did mine.

Wow. Where do I even begin?
Let me take you back to October of 2017. I had made my first trip to the wonderful land of Japan and nestled in among the good people who live there. During my stop in Kyushu, I ran across this BOSS Rainbow Mountain Blend coffee at an AEON Mall. At the behest of my friend who I was staying with at the time, I bought some to consume on the spot. It was already chilled, and as soon as the coffee hit my taste buds, I was in for a real treat. I was sure to buy up some more to take home with me on the flight back to America. Don't let the 6 oz size fool you. These little coffees pack a wallop and the taste is phenomenal. Even though I'm not one to get cream or sugar in my coffee (as Brian Griffin says, I like mine black as sin), the combo of everything feels just right. The quality of the roast is quite solid. Consisting of slightly woody notes, with not a sign of burnt flavor, this should appease any coffee snob anywhere. I'm so glad Suntory finally came to their senses and started properly importing this stateside for our enjoyment. The price is certainly higher than your typical Starbucks brew, but this really is a unique experience, almost a rite of passage that everyone should go through, and a good taste of what the Japanese like to call quality coffee. This beverage gets my seal of approval. Even if you find the price a bit too high, I'd still consider getting one case for the novelty factor and, who knows, maybe you'll get hooked? :)

So yummy tasting
I tried illy ready to drink coffee, and this is by far way more better tasting. I'm hooked so bad after this first can I wanted to drink 3 more. Price needs to be half of what they expect people to pay

Delicious, but heinously expensive
BOSS Coffee is widely considered to be some of the best and most popular canned coffee to come out of Japan, up there with Pokka Coffee and UCC, and for good. You can find these at 150円 vending machines all throughout Japan, in just about every coffee flavor you can possibly think of (and even some you can't). This particular flavor, Rainbow, is essentially a much sweeter, smoother version of the standard Boss flavor, and it's great if you're looking for a quick, chilled caffeine shot that doesn't taste like battery acid or pen ink. However, a *big* part of why BOSS is so popular in Japan is precisely what I mentioned earlier; it's very cheap, at just over $1 USD a pop. Amazon's $46 for a 12 pack of 6oz cans comes out to over $3.80 a can, or nearly 4x as expensive as it is in Japan, which is just utterly absurd when you consider that even Red Bull, the most expensive energy drink I can think of, typically sells at American gas stations for $3.50 for a 12oz can. I understand that shipping stuff to the other end of the planet typically incurs large shipping fees, but if it weren't for the fact my mother sent me a $50 gift card, there is no literally no way I could justify spending this much money on tiny coffee cans.
