I actually used just the power supply portion with variable speed control and NOT the fan itself. I had a custom project to create a custom room fan for my senior mother. Her 'go to' fan finally broke after running 24x7 for about 2.5 years. We tried purchasing replacements but they were all to 'noisy' for her - so she could NOT sleep/nap with any new ones we bought, and we purchased 4 of which we could only return 2 of them. So I purchased this along with 2 brushless ThermalTake 200 mm computer case fans and created a custom grille and frame and mounted on a cheap tripod and now my mom has the perfect fan. Even at top speed, mom is sleeping without any issues. Used a remote controlled outlet and now mom can turn on and off as she likes, but mostly the custom fan is running 24x7 again. And with brushless fans computer case fans, I can sleep at night no sparks will fly and no fire will happen in the house over the carpeting in her room.

I'm getting ready to do 3D printing with ABS and it's warned that ABS printing needs to be exhausted through a hepa and carbon filter system. So I got this fan to draw the enclosure fumes into a filter system I designed. The fan works excellent for this and the variable speed enables me to better regulate the airflow and temperature inside the printer enclosure. Very happy with the perform of this fan. Just hope it lasts.

It worked as expected, but just not enough air flow for my needs, some things cooling down component cabinets probably would work great, or some old rack stereo or something like would be good, but for a tent.. no go. To bad controller worked good too

This is a 220v fan with a 110v plug. It looks nothing like the product described, and doesn't even function as a fan at 110v. Another reviewer raised this complaint 7 months ago and the seller is still sending out paperweights. Seller should be banned, this is fraud.

These are great fans for moving heat around from a wood stove. Really good quality, very quiet, and the adjustable switches are great. Bought another because the first worked so good.

I use two of these- one at either end of the charger that charges my ebike battery. Works great and has adjustable fan speed level AND it plugs in to a 110 outlet. Cools off charger nicely.
