Can you use the 18 Volt battery from a Dewalt Drill?

No. Only the 20v battery. FYI Dewalt makes an 18v to 20v battery converter so you can use the 20v batteries on all your 18v battery tools.

Difference between job site and regular blower?

Hi, Thanks for contacting DEWALT. The job site is typically sawdust, nails, screws, etc. A regular blower is for leaves, grass clippings, etc.

Does this work great for blowing leaves?and what size battery amp, would I need?.

Yes; it works very well for blowing dry and damp leaves. Wet leaves are more difficult and I use a gasoline-powered blower for such jobs. I use a spare 4.0ah or 5.0ah battery which yield plenty of power for the 15 to 20 minute tasks generally encountered around the house and property.

How noisy is this? What is the dB rating?

This video was done with a battery at mid charge. (They seem quite a bit louder for the first few minutes on high and I think fail to represent normal usage.) this shows a peak of 80db when right next to the unit, falling off to about 72 db when 15 feet away in the same from, then it drops to 50 once I shut the door in the next room. It is by no means quiet, but acceptable to use indoors as long as no one is sleeping or trying to talk on the phone. (It’s great for dusting those hard to reach areas.)
