Dell delivers! Excellent basic monitor!
This is a quality no-frills 23" LED monitor from Dell. Although it is certainly a basic model, it is not a bottom of line model. You should inspect the descriptions of monitors very carefully and look for the following features:-Built in DC inverter (Yes, some models have external AC adapters which I think are ridiculous. Avoid these!) For this monitor, just plug in a standard computer power cable and that's it!-VGA input (Yes some monitors have done away with this standard as well. I recommend looking for this feature to give yourself the flexibility just in case)The brightness, color representation and sharpness are all excellent quality. I use this monitor for spreadsheets, movies and photo editing. So size and quality are very important for my work. In this respect, I am very happy with this monitor! This monitor does come with a built-in stand but it is pretty basic, and only has some tilt (no swivel or height adjust). You can purchase a separate stand that does these things if you need it, but frankly I'm fine with what it does. (Stands can be very expensive).5 stars! A quality no-frills monitor!

Test items when they come in.
Item was not completely functional and has a huge line running up and down the screen. I purchased it some time back and never checked when I got it. Past my return window now so I’ll use it as it is. My fault for not checking. Lesson learned.Purchased from Amazon warehouse so quality control should have caught this. I love Amazon but really this wasn’t a good experience for me.

It's a no frills TN Panel with some crappy default settings but it works well and looks nice.
I have a Dell E2310H, this monitor's predecessor, and bought this one primarily because I liked the E2310H so much. I like this monitor but not nearly as much as the E2310H. This monitor is not nearly as robust as it's predecessor, the base is wobbly and the thin plastic housing creaks if you look at it funny. Unless you're one to adjust your monitor frequently this isn't an issue though and it's perfectly stable with tight action on the tilt. The panel itself performs well and the image quality is nearly identical to the E2310H but the LED back-lighting is a little more washed out than the E2310H's CCFL. Also, it's a TN Panel so it's going to look crappy next to an IPS.Out of the box this panel has some sharpening and enhancement filters enabled that make images look like crap. Seriously if you pull up an HD image you're going to see horrible artifacts at the edges. You'll be really disappointed with the monitor if you don't turn these filters off.It might sound like I dislike this monitor but I don't. I really like the appearance, I much prefer the understated matte finish to the glossy plastic you tend to see on other monitors. As a TN Panel it's fast at 5ms black-to-white, not that sketchy grey-to-grey crap you see in IPS panels to hide the fact that they're slow. Sure it's not one of those high performance gaming panels but it costs a 1/3 as much while still giving them a run for their money.Overall the monitor is a good buy and I'm happy with it.

What To Expect From A Lower Cost Monitor
The screen images are only good if viewed looking directly (perpendicular) to the screen. If viewed just slightly from an angle (for example, the monitor is placed a touch below your angle of vision because it sits on a desktop and you are looking somewhat down at it) the color, the definition, and the brightness are effected significantly. When viewed in a direct right angle line from eye to monitor, images are OK. But what can you expect for a monitor at this price. A higher rated (and higher cost) Dell monitor performs much better.

Pixeling Began in 12 Months
Considering DELL's positive reputation, I purchased 3 of these monitors finding that one failed within 12 months with sufficient pixilation disrupting acuity over the screen. This monitor has served my needs well, and its options, colors presentation and crispness are very good for a low end monitor, but at this rate a 33% failure rate has occurred, Depending on your need, you may want to consider other LED monitors in your search as well.

Dell 23 LED Monitor!
I have to say that this monitor meet all my expectation when it comes to buy a new monitor, replacing an old ACER 19 inch. The shipment came very fast, the box, the product, everything is good, the screen display on this monitor es very nice, beautiful, clean. The design is slim, light weight, for me it doesnt feel cheap the material, but is plastic you can notice that when you touch for the first time. Came with VGA and DVI cable. In another word's, i love this monitor! Recommended!

Incorrect product description
Monitor description states "Plug-and-play VGA Port, and DisplayPort Connectivity".The product has VGA and DVI ports. Neither of these ports are usable with laptops having only Display Ports. Disappointing, waited two weeks to receive them and now have to wait for a refund as I'm returning them as unusable.

The monitor works better than expected as I has the clears screen of any monitor I have owned. Therefore I love it.
