(I usually apply several layers and wet sand with 600 grit wet/dry sandpaper.) I use the original product with excellent results, but brand specific, color matched products are also available. I repaired a small hole in my white kitchen sink. It has been 6 mos or more. Looks great. **Q: I have a small, quarter-sized spot on my sink where the gloss finish is worn off. Will this product repair the smooth, perfect glossy finish?** A: I covered 2 small maybe dime size chips on my porcelain stove top. The paint is new my stove is not but the whites blend nice. Also do your best to apply a smooth as possible 1st coat as brush strokes are hard to cover even with more coats. The repair is not as noticeable, easy to apply and seems to last very well.
