Comparing these M35 bits against M42 bits, drilling through 16 gauge stainless: I could get 8 holes with the M42 bits before needing resharpening, but only 2 holes with these M35 bits. However, after resharpening with a diamond wheel, the M35 bits became useable again. I guess, these bits are worthwhile if you are willing to resharpen them or don't intend to use them a lot on very hard metals. I also felt that their initial sharpness was not quite up to expectations.

Not for drilling hard steel!
I needed to drill some 3/8" steel plate, I had been using some drill bits from my tool box (high speed steel bit). I wanted a backup bit because of the 24 holes that I needed to drill. I was only able to drill two holes completely through and third hole half way through before the Sipery Cobalt bit stopped cutting, I was using cutting oil.I haven't used any more of these bits, but I think that they would work well on aluminum, plastic, wood or anything soft, but not steel.
