Great Book
This book is super fresh! I read a lot and often times I feel that writers are following a certain trend but this author clearly has a unique writing style. It’s brisk and ‘in your face’I could really relate to the main character and it’s disturbing to see how easily your life could spiral out of control without really having a grasp on it. It’s uncomfortable to read at times but also heartwarming. What I really liked is the uncomfortable and fragile father-son relationship that is so well portrayed. I think many can relate. And even though the main character’s father is a p.o.s. it’s hard not to feel sorry for him too.The only thing I would have liked to see more of was the mental health issue the main character seemed to struggle with. It could have been better explored. The book is classified as young adult but I think it’s a nice read for all ages, as it has a clear message and relevant topics (racism and police brutality for example)

Great read, kept me enthralled all the way through.
Gripping and exciting read that really delves into some deep issues that are relatable to by most. I know it got me thinking in a few places "damn that sounds familiar". Really great characters that you form bonds with instantly, but also some great character development through the story as you grow to feel differently about them as the story unfolds.A great read, I've already recommended this by mouth to several friends, and thoroughly recommend anyone to buy it. I often struggle to stay engaged with storylines when reading, but this one had me the whole way through. Very much enjoy the author's writing style.

Too short!
OK, this book made me laugh. Out loud. Literally. And cry... tbh. I loved everything about the story except that it was too short!!! And I have to say that I was pretty devastated by the ending!
