I use it mainly when I'm in a vehicle ro keep my head from bobbing up and down and to keep me from turning my head as much. You can still turn your head if you have to, but with more effort. It encourages you to twist your body to look back, not your neck. A vehicle trip leaves my neck sore for days and if I'm driving, I'm out of commission for a week. A 2 hour round trip hardly bothers me now. This doesn't prevent the problem, but it sure alleviates it. I never leave home without it. I need to get one to keep in my spouse's vehicle. My wife also gave me a small zippered bag to keep it in so it doesn't get pet hair all.over it. But for one hour+ trips, this has helped immensely. We recently to an 8 hour one-way trip and my plan was to do no driving at all. I was gonna to stay in the passenger seat. Normally this trip would have crippled me for a week for sure. I ended up driving half way there and 3/4 of the way back. My wife thinks this neck pillow is the greatest thing ever and she's never worn it. I haven't had any issues with mine. You pump it up to whatever pressure feels best to you. Of course it doesn't hold exact pressure all day. Just squeeze the handy blood pressure cuff like bulb a few times and pump it back up.. You can even use it in the small of your back if needed, buts there's actually a tube version specifically for backs available. When this eventually wears out., I will definitely get another to replace it. l hope it helps you as much as it has me.!

This is my second one of these. Use it all the time and it is inexpensive and easy to use to get pain relief in neck.

I've seen some bad reviews - but this is not designed to be worn for long periods - or for comfort. It's a neck stretcher, basically a mild torture device with some medical benefit - I use it for 15-30 minutes at a time. It isn't comfortable, but not painful either - and seems to help a bit with my pinched spinal nerves. Also seems to be well made - though I haven't had it long enough to speak on longevity - it appears as though it ought to last a while.

I use this every time I wake up with a kink in my neck. About 10-12 minutes later, I'm good to go. I would recommend deflating the collar just enough to get it off your neck. The initial inflation takes a lot of pumping with that little rubber bulb.

Just got this yesterday and have used it twice so far. I am having severe neck pain and headaches from the pain, I had a serious accident 20 years ago and got banged around pretty good in a truck cab. I've been seeing the chiropractor's for years and they help but it's always temporary. Just one use of this and it gave my neck a good stretch and it lasts for a good part of the day relieving a great deal of my pain. I'm looking forward to seeing how much continued use will help. Once you get the fit right it does help decompress my neck and reduces pain

Its a neck traction device for neck pain that I have due to degeneration of C5 and C6 disks. The neck pain cascades down to my right arm. My doctor recommended this device and I have been wearing it every night for 15-20 minutes and it has helped. I have to get help from my husband to tie the velcro and after that I am good to go.For the price, its a great device..

I've used a different kind of neck traction before and loved it but I didn't own one. The price was reasonable so I got this. I've had several cases of whiplash and a severe neck injury in my past so I have chronic pain. This does stretch my neck some, but it's not comfortable to use and the straps don't stay attached well. It's okay but I don't see myself using it much.
