These cable sleeves are a different concept from what I've used previously. Prior to having these sleeves available I would simply use standard  electrical cable ties . Those work fine and it's really a matter of preference in how you'd like to organize your cables.This concept really conceals the enclosed cables nicely, if that is important to you. The sleeve is made from a fairly thick and spongy neoprene that looks durable. The sleeve is held closed by full length velcro sewn to the neoprene, and this is one of the wear points I will be watching, because I can imagine that a few openings and closings of the velcro might pull the velcro strips from the neoprene if the threads are not strong enough.A single sleeve is about 19 inches long, and when closed the inner diameter is about three-quarters of an inch or so. If that is insufficient for the volume of cables to be held together then two sleeves can be used and attached together, more than doubling the holding capacity. Two sleeves can be connected together longitudinally using the attached clasps, a clever design. The four sleeves could therefore be used to create one continuous sleeve over 6 feet long if desired.I also notice that there are similar sleeves available on Amazon that use a zipper rather than velcro for closure. There would be pros and cons to either style, but the velcro does offer the advantage of allowing openings to be left at any point along the length, for cables to be withdrawn.Long term durability of these sleeves only be known over time. If I find anything of note as I use them, I will return and update this review.Overall I think that these are very useful for their intended purpose. I'll appreciate making use of them at my office or elsewhere, and if I think of anything else worth mentioning here, I'll come back to this review and update it accordingly.I received a package of four sleeves at no cost and for my evaluation and review. Some people were correct when they said they needed to be aired out a little. They do have a distinctive smell when barely opened, but it subsides in a small amount of time. Cable Management Sleeve, Aikema Electronic Cord Organizer for TV / Computer / Home Entertainment - Flexible Neoprene TV Cable Management, Computer Cable Sleeve Wrap Cover Cable Cord Organizer, 4Pack Specifications:-Able to hold a DVI (thick) cable along with 5-6 other cables.-longer than I'd anticipated, which is a good thing.-You' don't have to cut the material, instead, just route our cable, take it out, strap the top (or bottom) of the Velcro straps, then take the cable out, and then resume strapping down the rest of the cable holders' Velcro straps.-Super easy to install as well, you don't have to route your cables through these, you can easily just wrap it around the clump of un-tangled cables that you already have.-What's even better is this: say you're using all 4 consecutively, after one set of holders, you're allowed to deviate a cable to a different side, while having the rest of the cables go into the other cable holder.-A breeze as well to uninstall, just unstrap the holders, take out the cables and you're done.This was exactly what I needed to tidy up all the cables in the back of my computer desk. They fit a thick DVI monitor cable) inside as well as 5 other cables inside. Although I didn't exactly use the buckles and clips that are attached to the sleeves, the cables inside were sufficiently thick enough to hold the cable holders in place.They were longer than I expected them to be, so I only used 3 for my fairly small set-up, which worked perfectly, and saved up a ton of space in the back of my computer desk. You don't exactly have to cut holes, as I already mentioned, but I think it's important to note this, just route them, strap it down, pull the cable outside, and strap it down again, and walla! You have a cable exiting the holder midway.Overall, these set of holders are ideal for small to mid sized setups. The material of the holders are well made and sturdy enough to resists heavy stretching and tension when trying to strap them down. Not to mention the size they have, was enough to fit all the connections I have on my computer, which are around 3 USB mics/headphones, mouse and keyboard, the DVI cable, and 2 cables for surround speakers. Great set of cable holders and decently priced as well.Sample provided at a reduced or free price in exchange for an honest evaluation.
