Q: Could it withstand and airsoft bb or two

It's pretty sturdy, I think it would be fine for airsoft. Me and my little brother use to have airsoft shootouts in our yard, doesn't take much to protect against them.

Q: Is it a metal helmet?

No It is not metal. It is also not the standard helmet that is use as the insert for the metal helmet. Also there are not straps or other options to adjust the size for a person's head.

Q: would this fit a 13 year old?
