OCTAVO Electric Meat Grinder 300W, 8-Cup Capacity Stainless Steel Bowl, Food Processor & Vegetable Chopper With 4 Stainless Steel Blades For Dicing, Mincing, And Puree

I have several blenders and food processors. I have nothing negative to say about them, they do their jobs appreciably well. And contrary to the many negative reviews, this device is perfect for its main job - chopping /coarse grinding meat. It is not what you want if you are grinding 10 - 20 lbs of pork / beef to make sausage, but exactly what you want for small quantities (1/4lb to about a 1-1/2 lbs, especially leftovers from roasts, grilled meats, etc.). If you have more than about a half or 3/4 pound you will probably work in batches. Because of the 4 blade system it makes quick work of the meat, and unlike most food processors it is both easy to see the progress, and (at least for me) producesses a much more uniform grind than most of the "Cuisinart" style that only has blades in the bottom. Those tend to make purees much better than simple grinds. I have more than 5 other food processors that cannot get 3/4 pounds of beef chunks chopped to look like it was "store ground" beef without some of it being reduced to a pate, while leaving a few pea or marble size nuggets. AND if I run / pulse this enough it will eventually produce a very smooth pate. The only con is a little one - if you try to pickup the full assembly just by the motor handle, the motor will simply lift off. Which reminds me to mention that getting the cover on the bowl and the motor onto the cover (so the safety switch is made and it will run) is MUCH easier than getting the cover on properly and interlocked on any other food processor I have.I especially hate the 2 Kitchen_Aid processors because the top can be placed on in at least 2 positions, but only 1 makes the safety switch so they will run. With this unit the "square" motor fits on in any of 4 positions, and will run in any of them as long as it is fully seated to the cover and blade shaft.Would I recommend this to other customers - HECK YEAH!And NO I was not compensated for this review.

I usually don’t buy previously owned things, but glad I did this time. It was well taken care of and did its job as would a brand new and more costly one.

This is the very best small grinder I have ever owned. I have used it many times to grind meat. Today I decided to try raw carrots and what a wonderful job it did in just seconds. It’s does not take up much storage space. I’m just wondering if they sell a replacement blade. Would definitely purchase another if this one get broken.

I was really surprised at the performance of this little thing. Grinds quickly and easily.

My dogs have allergies and are on a special diet which includes roasted pork. Because they are small, I need to cut it into tiny pieces. I got this device as a trial to see if it would be faster than cutting up manually; I didn't expect much because of the price. Boy, was I ever wrong. This device is terrific. It's speedy, chops very well and is easy to clean. One of the best purchases I've made in a long time.

The first time my wife use a meat grinder it's very convenient and you can choose the size of the meat grains and the blades are very sharp and I recommend this machine.
