Very hard to open and guide the cables into it, it seems that for sure it would protect the wires and cables but it was extremely difficult to open and insert the cables into it, I was using this for a car stereo installation.

Worked well in my BMW to replace 5mm loom. Unlike others that have reviewed, the coil I received was most certainly split as advertised.

A very nice product, but I should have ordered it in a bit larger diameter. It worked for me, but I suggest you order a larger diameter than you think you need.
