Q: Why is the item a10x14, but size is 18x13.75? Is it really an 18x14?

It's a 10x14. Not sure why they show different sizes. That was not the case when we ordered it.

Q: Can you use it for under your tent??

That's what I bought it for. Most tents these days have the tarp like bottom so this just adds another layer of protection. Just remember that the tarp should be slightly under the tent bottom, so the rain doesn't pool on the topside of the tarp.

Q: What is the weight of this item?

This item is advertised at 2.9oz material. Therefore a 24 x 36 Tarp = 96 Square Yards x 2.9oz per yard = 278.4 oz / 16 = 17.4 Pounds. For other sizes, simply determine square yards and do the math for an approximate weight. Note: 3 ounce material density is very light weight. A heavy duty tarp would be constructed using 18 oz material and 22 mil, however the same tarp would be well over 100 pounds.

Q: Can this be used under a tent

If you mean as a ground cloth, yes it could be used for that purpose.
